January 22, 201214 yr Using the GoodReader app that Noah mentioned above, one can easily transfer .pdf files from Dropbox to GoodReader via GoodReader's built-in integration with Dropbox. Use any internet connected device to download the charts into Dropbox; then open GoodReader ( a great app on its own), click on the "Connect to Servers" tab on the right, add your Dropbox account (free), and then you'll be able to load the .pdfs right from Dropbox into GoodReader.Wayne, That's the same setup I use. Works like a charm.
January 23, 201214 yr Commercial Member So I bought a cycle 1201 FAA d-TPP disk ($17 postpaid direct from FAA/AeroNav) with all the US data, and if we do lose access to FAA data for FSKneeboard, I can still get my 1201 cycle FAA charts up on the iPad with Goodreader. Good idea, I've just done the same. For those interested, http://faacharts.faa.gov/. Pricelist: http://aeronav.faa.gov/content/aeronav/pricelists/PriceListAeroNavAeroOct2011.pdfI'm thinking about buying the charts DVD too. January 24, 201214 yr http://aeronav.faa.g...av/applicationsI don't see anything here that allows you to download ALL the d-TPP charts. I was responding to Bob's post. He didn't download all the charts individually in 45 minutes. Tom
January 25, 201214 yr Commercial Member He wasn't referring to downloading all DTTPs - that's not possible. For that you have to buy the CD. Noah Bryant
