You have to remember that business jets are not as complicated in real life as Commercial airliners so this would be a comparison between apples and oranges. I believe the Citation X is an accurate representation of the real thing as far as systems (within the limits of FS and not to totally overwhelm the user) and the highly integrated avionics. The Message system itself has 48 messages that are displayed on the EICAS screen and they are true scrolling messages. While the FMC does not have the ability to build a flight plan, it does contain all the performance and progress information found in the real aircraft.Lonny

>nope, no tcas...but it DOES have really cool fuzzy/blurry>graphics & gauge label lettering in the VC. :-(>>DaveThat's funny, I see everything fine. It isn't crystal clear but darn good enough! And I am extremely picky when it comes to FS Aircraft. I have actually refused to fly certain aircraft because I thought the pilots in the cockpit didn't look right. :-eek I can honestly say that this is my favorite FS Purchase to date and I own just about every payware aircraft (from the main FS Add-on places) in existence (still need to pick up that PMDG 1900 though).Dave, I'm sorry but posts like yours bug me. Maybe because I have posted comments with your tone before myself when I was younger and in retrospect I look back at those days and wonder why I was such an ***. The new CX is a GREAT payware add-on and EASILY worth the measely $28 I paid for it. It cost $10.50 a person to go to the movies where I live for one 2 hour POS movie. I paid $28 for an aircraft add-on I can spend countless hours enjoying. Is the VC crystal clear? No. Does it detract form this product in any way? No.Want crystal clear cockpit photos? www.airliners.netI suppose you could just ask for a refund and go spend your $28 on a 2 hour movie and a box of milk duds that will give you a stomach ache later. To each his own! LOL:D Ark

>nope, no tcas...but it DOES have really cool fuzzy/blurry>graphics & gauge label lettering in the VC. >>DaveTell me more Dave. How are the 2d side and rear panels in the 2d views. Reason I ask is cause I could care less about 3d cockpits. Is it set up like the Falcon50 lite version was where you have full quality views all the way around in 2d Cockpit.

Bigshot...not sure about "rear" and "side" panels as i dont pay much attention to most of the candy that doesnt have to do with controlling the plane itself...that being said however, i can at least tell you that the 2D forward panel is fine as far as clarity goes..no probs there on my end..looks nice. Its the VC i have a problem with...not very efficient at all in 3d, but if you prefer 2D then youll most likely really enjoy it. She flies very well too with nice external visuals of course...she's just not quite a vc junkie's dream is all.Dave

I am liking this plane alot! Just bought it and made one quick flight (well any plane that cruises at mach .9 is going to be quick :) )Anyway, having 4 different versions of this plane is a great option. The performance of the "light" version on my PC was great (basically no slowdowns whatsoever). I didn't get a chance to try the other models yet. The flight model feels so smooth as well. Not that I have a clue how a real Citation feels, but I was able to nail a very smooth landing on the first try.

Thanks George, but it smells like you can move your installation only once. This may be enough, but as the customer I don't want to carry the risk. Suspicious enough that there is no information on that process on their web site. Will give this a miss.Regards,Siggy

> smells like you can move your installation only onceThat's absolutely not the case in my experience. The Flight1 wrapper system saves a (small) key file to your harddisk. You need to make sure you don't lose this file - best practice is to burn it on a CD-R. Whenever you want to reinstall your plane, you just need the key file to verify that you are a legitimate owner.I have reinstalled FS2002 a few times, and migrated to FS2004 when it was released. The first addon that I bought was Flight1's Cessna 421C, and I installed without problems on each of these occasions. Absolutely hassle-free!In my opinion the Flight1 wrapper system is extremely user friendly and dependable.Just my 2c (EUR),VOlker :]

"Whenever you want to reinstall your plane, you just need the key file to verify that you are a legitimate owner."I think it depends upon the version of Flight1 Wrapper associated with each product. Some of the later Wrapper versions require the key AND the last four digits of the credit card used to originally purchase the add-on. Alternatively, the customer can ask Flight1 to issue a password to be used in place of the last four cc digits. That being said, reinstalling any Flight1 product is very easy and painless. Just be sure to save that key file and the final four cc digits (or password). Flight1 has a nice balance of piracy protection and ease of reinstall for their customers.Cheers,

ok, I got it, I love it, but how do you set the course? The heading is right there, but I can't find the course thingy. Even looked in the manual. This is some awesome plane. billg

Although the ommission of a TCAS and the fact that your entire flight plan is not displayed are two big negatives for me, I am still enjoying the other features.I am holding out on the hope that at some point in the future, these would be included in a patch. These two negatives aside, I am ok with everything else so far. I only use the VC for taxiing, so it doesn't matter much how clear it is, but on my computer (2200+XP, GF4 Ti4600, 1.5GB RAM, SoundBlaster Live! Value - more than 4 years old), the delux model has no FPS hit whatsoever for me (FPS locked at 25). Overall, an excellent package.

Volker and Greg,Thanks for your replies. Piracy protection is absolutely ok.Has anyone of you moved one of their products to a new machinemore than once ? That is the only thing I am concerned about.Assuming I wanted to upgrade my machine soon, it could looklike a new box to the product, perhaps I would then need that'install on another machine' feature that I read about todayon one of the review sites/pages they link to. And from then onno further H/W change would be possible ?Regards,Siggy

Anyone care to offer a URL to this product???Thanks.

Hi, the Eaglesoft products are not hardware bound at all, you can use the unpacked installer just as the old Flight1 wrapper products.
