Logo Light does not illuminate on Delta Livery (?)

Featured Replies

It's not a deal-breaker, but since joining DeltaVA, I would like the Logo light on the airplane to light up, but it doesn't (?) Anyone else encounter this? The 737NGX-800 Delta Livery? Thanks.Robert McDonald

Is your cab/util switch on?

It is possible the repaint creator to have forgotten the alpha channel for the tail and in that case you wont have night illumination.Does your landing lights reflect on the body?

Does your landing lights reflect on the body?
Irrelevant in this case, different texture files, and also different method used.

Also note that most Delta 737 do not have logo lights in RL (or they are not replace. I believe only the two last 737 have them.

Well, call me nuts, but I think the experience is heightened by the Company's logo being lit on the tail. Particularly when I'm filming a video...;)

That and I want those AI planes to see me when I don't see them. :(

No lie. I was flying on Vatsim last night and thought I had turned off the AI aircraft. As I approached Ronald Reagan airport in DC, I couldn't believe the traffic! Then I turned off Ultimate Traffic. I was all alone (no controller either :( )c'est la vie!

Yeah, but some airlines find the lack of marketing the cheaper option compared to a cost to maintain a logo light system. Now if you ask me, I would always have them on...

You bet- given the size of today's commercial airliners- why would you NOT want 24x7 advertising in the form of illuminated logos on the tail! Cheap advertising!
