February 22, 201214 yr IMHO, anything from Carenado.I also enjoy the Aerosoft Twin Otter, ORBX Lancair and Milviz C310. Thanks, Kevin L
February 22, 201214 yr IMHO, anything from Carenado.Sorry, but can't really agree with that. Even if Carenado gained certain level of quality in all aspects, there are still some of their aircraft that are not up to the highest standard achieved with some of their aircraft. Fly S A F E ! February 22, 201214 yr Color me kooky but I still really enjoy flying the Aerosoft Beaver X (and the DHC-6 Twin Otter). Argueably mildly dated but for sheer fun and go anywhere ability can't really be beat.Lots of choices above too. And while I really enjoy my Carenado aircraft (notably the C337 and C208) and would recommend them....a couple of lingering issues remain present in both models. No showstoppers and depending on your level of ability you may not notice or care. AVSIM Staff ReviewerBush Is Good!

Stunning texturing is one thing, but to me there is a sterility in the FDE of almost all of Carenado's planes for FSX. A lack of spark, magic or X-Factor..... that ingredient that makes the RealAir Duke and A2A aircraft so special, just isn't there on Carenado offering IMHO ..... It's all about the textures and HD but I think their offerings are lacking in some other areas. The Flight 1 T182 is so much more 'rounded' to fly than Carenado's similar offering, which to me feels like the default C172........YMMV. February 23, 201214 yr Just wanted to say I got the Real Air Duke bundle. Will send back word on what I think later.Personally I feel the Reality XP 530/430 really adds to the enjoyment of such aircraft. Especially if you spend a lot of time IMC. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules

They will slip/spin/snap, and some are aerobatic as well. I understand what you are saying when speaking of the older releases, but some of the new ones, particularly the 337, are VERY good. February 23, 201214 yr New stuff from Carenado. The C337, P46T C90 ( ok not released yet I know! But I'm waiting) flight 1 mustang and T182. Orbx Lancair, baytower rv-7 would the Eaglesoft CJ1 count? I'm sure there's others that I'm forgetting. Lee If I think of more ill post
February 23, 201214 yr I would download and purchase a sound pack for whatever airplane you decide. The TSS and Arezone ones I have purchased have transformed the planes I own.The FSD Seneca and Panther airplanes for me had a bad VC cockpit but the damage model and load out program was great! The PA46T is also a really great plane. as well as anything Caranado makes. Ryanbatcund you should just save that post and always put it in the thread that pops up here like this once a week asking the same thing.. I am guilty of my own post like this as well ;-(
