The problem is after i installed the program you need to send an email to request a product key.I followed the instructions and never had a response. So after many email attemts to [email protected] and [email protected], i have had to request a refund. Whish me luckAs a CEO of a VA you can guess what my advise will be in the future.
February 23, 201214 yr I am most certain that key generation is not automatic and has to be done by an individual, perhaps an exercise in patience would have been the best approach before submitting a request for refund.Here is some info from their FAQ: The first time you run Radar Contact the Registration screen will appear. Please enter your First Name and Last Name where indicated. Next click on the box that says "Click here to Email Registration Information to JDTLLC." Your email program will prepare a properly formatted email message addressed to [email protected]. All you need to do is click the send button in your email program. February 23, 201214 yr Key generations are automated if the outgoing e-mail is exactly formatted per the instructions. Most e-mail applications are compatible with automatic generation of the registration e-mail. Unless there is a host provider problem or there is a system backup in force or bad weather causes comm problems, keys are automatically generated anywhere from twenty minutes to an hour.The support address is [email protected] if you want support outside of this conference.Did you permit jdtllc.com through your pc and isp spam filters? Check them.jd checks this forum a couple of times daily plus beta team members and the user community check in here frequently for operation problems.Here's what the outgoing e-mail should have looked like:To: [email protected]: your name <[email protected]: RCv4 Key Request-nnnnnnnnnn ! userfirstname ! userlastname Note: the '-' is only present if it appears in the product code and the spacing format must be exact.The e-mail address should agree with your address at the time you ordered and downloaded. If not then it will have to be handled manually.So the first item of business is to check your pc and e-mail provider spam folders to see if you got a response. If not then send a message to [email protected] including the ordering details as noted above and also noting if you used a different e-mail address for ordering and download, and registration. Be sure to include the '-' if present in the product code.Be aware there is a learning curve to RC so check the on-line tutorials at jdtll.com in the documentation folders. There is a lot of flexibility in RC that you need to know about as well as rules that must be followed. Also download the updated rcv43 manual from there.Finally on a successful install be sure to update FSUIPC and makerwys again from the pinned links and then run the scenery rebuild again.If you have missing dll or security problems check out the pinned topics. In addition if using RC on a Win 7 or VISTA pc be sure to right click on the rcv4.exe icon and select run as admin, a program access level different than a user account access level.

I have been keeping a check on my junk folders for any emails.I also tried using a different email account but had an automated email telling me "unable to find your email address in my records"

February 23, 201214 yr Author Just had 3 automated emails at the same time from JD. No expanation or apology. Looks like they prefer to give a refund than to look into my order number and issue a key. Just my bad luck i guess
February 23, 201214 yr Commercial Member i've had over 15 key requests, which were all answereed an sent back to youi've received another or so emails from you changing email addresses, and asking for keys directly. i responded to all of thosethen i got an email from swreg saying that you wanted a refund, and i'm in the process of doing that for you now.considering how many keys i generate a day automatically, and how many i generate manually from personal emails, i find it strange that you haven't received any of the keys or other emails.regardless, i'm sorry that you were unable to find the emails.jd JD Read my blog
February 23, 201214 yr Author I have not received any emails from you to my Hotmail account. The Only one was from SWREG with the order details and download link. I tried my VA email account and you replied saying you can't find my order info. So i re-sent my order info a number of times through hotmail changing my email setting, but i still received no reply. You also sent a link for me to change my email info.It seems the only way i could contact you was through my VA email account. It must have been a problem with your emails getting blocked through hotmail i guess.I an sorry if you had so many email requests from me.

August 17, 201213 yr RCV development is in hiatus. The developer usually checks in daily except for an occasional short vacation. Please see this pinned topic: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/378357-version-5-temporary-suspension-of-coding/ There is a backup person monitoring this forum plus several beta testers. The backup person can generate keys but to my knowledge has no access to the user database and purchase database. Occasionally the ISP site fails for the automatic key generator. In those cases complaints here are handled manually. Finally this is an old thread. Adding to it does not call attention to new complaints about key delivery.
