I like to watch episodes of "Air Crash Disaster" on YouTube.
Any particular videos you've topped?

Hello, the FMC will predict when will you be reaching the TOD. You can find this time in Progress page. Also, there is an option to pause your flight either at TOD or something like 20 miles before, I dont really remember as I do not use it. Could be of god use.
This I know, but what will wake me up when I get there. I need an alarm clock.

These episodes are very interesting to me. As an "experienced" simmer, I find myself often saying, "how could he (the Pilot) do that?". Most of these accidents are caused by a series of small mistakes, any one of which, if fixed, would have avoided the calamity. It makes paying attention to details that much more important. I have not made any of the mistakes highlighted by these episode on "Air Crash ...". I have, however, been able to uncover a few more scenarios for future episodes.

Oh. You mean, you need, like a hardware add-on. Then I can't be of assistance I am afraid.Although re NGX, there is a kitchen clock like thing on aft overhead panel, wonder If it works. You can always use your cellphone though.

I just read that 1/2 of european pilots admit to sleeping in the cockpit. See article http://now.msn.com/money/0228-pilot-sleep-flying.aspxThat is my problem and why I said I need an alarm clock to wake me up. It does get boring at level flight, at night time especially. So snoozing is a reality in real life. Some say they read a book, other surf the web, others sleep maybe the 797 should have an entertainment center in the cockpit!

Now that is the example of bad journalism if I ever seen one.
