Bring on the rest of the world, then the heavies. In the future this title will end up on the shelf with the rest of the other ones. Microsoft will need to move with the goal posts eventually. However, when Beta testing I did notice good framerates and no crashes. Has to be a plus!

You're most welcome. I don't have TrackIR (yet), but a LOT of beta testers asked for TrackIR support, so MS knows that we want it.I asked repeatedly for a LOT of things; one of which was the ability to set the controls to a non-linear curve (as my Saitek X52 is way too sensitive in Flight). I'm still waiting for this to be added.The brakes actually feel more sensitive in the release build than they were in the last beta build (they were like this BEFORE they were fixed). Even when you pull back on the stick when braking, the Stearman wants to do a nose plant when you use the brakes.The trim is too course in the button assignments. If you use the mouse wheel to adjust the trim from the cockpit trim wheel, it advances in 1 degree increments

How do you get the Xbox controller to pair with your computer?

I dont have an xbox but alot of games for the PC were set up for it and my old gamepad was ready for retirement so I just bought a Wired xbox 360 pad for the PC, you can get them online in most places, not too expensive though the wireless version is more expensive.I think the wired Xbox 360 controller you can just plug straight into a PC or you can download drivers for it on the microsoft website.If its a wireless controller though then you will have to buy a special wireless receiver to use it for the PC as i think the Xbox has that built in and you have to buy it seperately for the PC.Hope that helps.

download the drivers then plug in (usb)I used the Xbox controller almost 5 years with FSX (until getting a joystick)... worked great. I prefer the joystick now to the Xbox controller but still use as a secondary (tertiary?) input.

I am skipping MS Flight for now.So many things not supported.You can't even use toe-brakes!Back to FSX with accu feel and a lot other great addons.Makes MS Flight look like a joke.

Yes I have just downloaded it to my 7200rpm HDD (I was not concerned about texture load) and the runway textures are amazing! The rest of the scenery is awesome too and I get really good performance. Unfortunately flight physics are unrealistic though, but I quite like it but not as much as I like FSX though...Just my opinion,Frank

wasting time? you can give a warning? HOW? I think people here can have their own opinion downloading and testing it, and not listening to who say Flight is BS.

Im just saying that there have been a lot of people here that only joined to post bad things about Flight. They all seems to have joined about the same time as you. If thats not the case, let me say I apologize for lumping you in with them. Its truly a stupid thing for me to do, and I wont do it again. Its not my place to judge your motives.Sorry you dont like Flight.

Alright, no hard feelings.But MS Flight is a joke compared to FSX for the true simmer.What part of "ease the hardcore simmer", DID the development actually do?No offence, but this was made for teenagers with x box 360 controllers.That was more important than getting simple rudders working.Again, i hope no one is offended by this.My son is having fun with it, along with a controller.If we are lucky, he will use it for a whole week.For the first time in Microsoft flight history, fail is upon us.

Just tried it.I can see that it has potential. The engine seems better.If it will develop itself into something like FSX or Fs2004 will depend on sales I guess and what MS sees as opportunities.
