Could you be more specific? Based on my experiences, FSX isn't capable of simulating realistic turbulence. AS2012 only makes a marginal difference. :(

My experience is the same, hard to find a way to get realistic turbulence in FSX so I would be interested in the best settings for this as well.

ASE 2012 has impressed me once or twice so far. I was moved to make a VATSIM PIREP it was so good. :)All default settings, btw. -George

I agree with George, the MSFS wx engine is not capable of realistic turbulence. It's not as simple as simply varying the direction and/or velocity of a single wind vector. I recommend turning off all tubulence effects.

"Turbulence realism" is an unknown term in FSX - I concur with the others... AS2012 is as good as I've seen though, we'll see how REX Essentials does.In case some of you don't believe this - George and Dan are both real pilots who've seen plenty of turbulence.

Hi, when I uncheck the @ FSUIPC winds tab the turbulence, gusts and variance. I get what defiantly feels like real turbulence. And it could be very severe, only it's not as frequent as it should be and sometimes not according to current weather condition, however, to me is better than nothing, before I used to disable those because I was into flights with time acceleration mode, now I don’t, so it's not bad, I use REX2RegardsAt REX2 configuration menu (I guess) I select an option mentioning to use real world weather configuration (as far as I remember now).

Hi,another way ist to use Ezdok Camera. There are several choises to improve turbulences. And i have change the TurbulenceScale to 1.5 in the FSX.CFGGreetingsJoachim

Gimme a break...spot the problem.Andrew

Yeah sadly FSX does not make Turb. Like in the real world, or near as real. Sadly. Sometimes I miss that blow of gust or a strong sidewind with Turb. But then I'm glad to fly RW to have that in mind, but for you guys who are limited to fly sim, then yes it's a big loss and a big part of flying real world.. I hope I make any sence, lol. Was out yesterday celebrating me and my teammates getting wings/ the three bars on the shoulders. ;-) And a rating.. :-P

Alaa - You mean check/select those settings?

is there any different between the AS2012 and AS6.5 according to turbulence.
