March 6, 201214 yr Level 13 with 146.000 XP. The only thing i do is flying jobs: Chickens, cats, nurses with passengers, pigs. As long as the flight is shorter than 150 miles ill fly. Just did a 120 mile flight at night. I planned to trim the aircraft and go downstairs to watch some tv. But somehow i changed the weather conditions into "Among the giants" so i had to fly the whole trip manually. :Waiting: Flown 14 hours and 3000 km. Maybe somewere next week level 20... I reached level 20 at the weekend and am now just over 900,000 XP. Addicted or what ? That's pretty hardcore
March 6, 201214 yr If you check Achievements while inside Flight you'll see what I assume (huh?) to be useable points for the Marketplace. I totaled up all the possibilities and it came to a potential of 1,000 points.Sorry to break the news to you, XBox Live Gamerscore is used for bragging rights only. They don't count as MS Points. All retail games released by MS have a max Gamerscore of 1000. DLC can increase this max pts higher but it will say it in the DLC package if ew achievements are in it. XBox Live Arcade games have a max score of 200 on release and can be higher with DLC as well. Some people like Achievements and some could careless for them. I myself am an achievement hoarder.

Shows how much I'm involved with the outside world. But at least it means I won't have to haul a load of screaming monkeys around to get a discount on Alaska...
March 6, 201214 yr Hi blowfield! Glad to see you're enjoying Flight (as a first timer). BTW, landing... that is the hardest part of flying... even in real life! <grin>Thanks for the greeting and encourgement.Having a blast. I want to land at every airport and strip there is.My favorite plane is the Icon. I like water landings.Hope Alaska gets released quickly. i7-920@3360, Asus P6T Deluxe, 6gb Corsair 1600 ram, MSI GTX460, PC Power+Cooling 610wt psu, etc.
March 7, 201214 yr I am level 20... but sadly that is level 20 in frustration with my father....He says it's rubbish, it's boring, etc, etc, etc but the funny thing is he can't even finish the first 2 levels, oh and he doesn't like the free island and the 2 planes that came with it.I try to tell him what is the point of having a fast jet if you can't even fly something properly that goes at 100 kts?He can go back to enjoying his stupid Trainz and I shall enjoy FLIGHT..... :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO:

March 9, 201214 yr Current XP is 1,322,872I do a lot of landing challenges in all the planes and they really crank up the XP points. The 3 Gold Rush challenges are great XP earners. especially when you get gold. I have made 3 videos on how to get gold in them all. These are the links to the my video posts. (If anyone has any questions just ask. I have been in the beta since Jan 5th and got lots of experience/practise.)http://forum.avsim.n...hilo-bay-video/http://forum.avsim.n...d-farm-video-2/http://forum.avsim.net/topic/365441-gold-rush-ford-island-video-3/ Fred. March 9, 201214 yr I have reached Level 340. lol Height that is.in the business .. we call it altitude :Nerd:
March 9, 201214 yr It would be nice if MS granted some discounts to the ones who reach and/or pass level 20, level 30 and so on.A discount on DLC around 10% on each 10 levels passed would be fair IMO.BTW I am still on level 4 :)-

March 9, 201214 yr You won't see that Mark, there are people out there that make my 54000 GS look like nothing. Microsoft did a small story on a gamer that got an achievement everyday for god only remembers how many years. You will never see a discount for an awesome score or gaining levels. No company out to make profits would do that.

Totally agree Gold Rush is a quick way to accumulate points. Hilo is easy for getting gold. The Wind farm I consider medium difficulty. Finally Ford, island in Pearl Harbor is extremely difficult (& a bit frustrating I might add). The bi plane/crop duster (sorry, I don't know my plane names very well) seems to be the best for Gold Rush challenges. No other plane can maneuver like it. The only thing that makes me nervous about Gold Rush is it seems to take a toll on my flight yolk. So far it's standing up to the beating and I"m trying to fly as gentle as possible.I'll tell you what, I really miss rudder control right now.Jas Jason BocheDelta Virtual Airlines Assistant Chief Pilot, B767-300
