Looks like you got a mesh.What was the format, out of interest?Any part names, animations?
I would be glad, if someone (more experienced) helped with the modelling part..Tracked format to Granny 3D..(OllyDbg showed some string refs to SDK, so I gave a shot..). Used grnreader98 to create SMD from .model file. (had probably old version of granny2.dll, supporting only 0x26h file flag version, MSFL models have type flag of 0x38h -> hexEdit)Imported to 3Ds using Half Life plugin from CannonFodder.Export part is the tricky one.. it does however compile to Granny runtime format.. and saving import (without mods) to gr2 gives almost the same filesize as the original .model file..Packed it to CoreContent, launched, exception at some point during loading -> looking at that ATM.Not sure about part names or animations.. I'm software engineer, not a modeller/designer :)Does attached image give some info?

Hi sako75is more or less ... that.I also already have all the 3D models of MSF aircraft and more other objects.. since beta, but it was through another process. ... as you know, or should know .... there is a process ... much simpler and direct to export models of Flight or FSX directly to 3DMax or Maya! ... because they are games that use DirectX as suport .....most ... "addicted" to 3d modellers ... (3D masters or beginners ...) know this "old" tool ... that .... say .... extracts all 3D models or even parts of the scenery, of an almost infinite amount of games that are presently on the market ... (Models, textures and shaders ...)Unfortunately or fortunately, depends on the point of view ..... this tool stopped in DX9 ... and does not work very well on 64bit systems ... but has plugins for the latest versions of 3DMax.Most modelers who use this tool, do not use it to modify games! ... Just use it to obtain the basic 3D models, for use after improved, in other graphics applications ...@Corinoco .... hehehehe ... ... You must love this tool if you have one day to do an airport project ...here ... I will not say the name of the tool for legal reasons ... of course! ...... use Google to find the answers ...

err :) it's not my model.. it is already included in standard game files of FS.. as SimObject tho, but..

Well, I would dare to say that there is some market for this kind of technology :)

I thought I saw a glider.. like there was in FSX tutorial missions.. dunno :)

They are both static models..not flyable..Helos and gliders are coming, I think :D

Ohhhhhhhhhh.... Finally!Working animations, skeletons, etc.. you can still see the original devpath (D:\Flive\private\DLC\...)Exporter: Microsoft Flight Exporter (custom), SDK 2.8.50.0

Interesting, the folding wing are in the model. But nobody reported having found the key for that......
