March 23, 200422 yr Erick Cantu updates to the FFX 737-200 is just what the doctor ordered. This model was deserving of a little more work (textured interior, etc.) and he more than brought this model to FS2k4 standards. I just noticed his updated Southwest model yesterday and didn't realize it was an updated FFX model. I was surprised when I found my old FFX liveries worked with this model. Although I had to add some extra textures from Erick Cantu's model that updated the wing and interior textures, everything else worked. I don't like the angle at which the fuselage sits on the ground (the real bird doesn't site nose down on the runway). If I could find a fix for that it would be great, everything else is fine... I know I'm a little late on this one but that's O.K. I know now... March 23, 200422 yr Actually the real aircraft does sit a bit nose low, not quite as much as Erick,s but it does, check this shot out, its noticeablehttp://www.airliners.net/open.file/536386/M/Hornit
March 23, 200422 yr That's just how the shot was taken, the 737-200 sits level to the ground... FS2020 Alienware Aurora R11 10th Gen Intel Core i7 10700F - Windows 11 Home 32GB Ram NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR
March 23, 200422 yr I agree! The Model IS AWESOME now! But I really don't like the Attitude the Plane has while on the ground! It has a Very Nose down look, which i really don't think is correct?? IT sits pretty level from the 737-200 i see here at my home airport! Hope Eric has a Fix for this? Or anyone made a fix for this slight problem, other than this love his 737 series! MIKE
March 24, 200422 yr I wonder how to remove those antenna wires? I've not seen a 732still in service that has them. Im longing for the old model at this point I think. (which was great too.)Eric AND
March 24, 200422 yr "I wonder how to remove those antenna wires? I've not seen a 732 still in service that has them. Im longing for the old model at this point I think." Drop in the new mdl file, if/when Erick releases it. He said he would probably do a mdl w/o the longwires. :-outta http://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/User_files/3e72a43942b48d2b.jpg There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness".- unknown "My daddy gives me up, to fight for you"- a US Military Members Child
March 24, 200422 yr Yes, it is awesome. And Richard Probst is working on an equally awesome panel to go with it (http://www.tinmouse.org). He's still developing it, but it is already a fantastic panel.
March 24, 200422 yr You know, I just posted here about this panel - I can't get it to work with the SWA repaint listed above. I get the "you can continue to load this aircraft, but the following software must be disabled: B732.gau" which is the gauges from that panel...any ideas? Thanks!sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)

March 24, 200422 yr Yeah, that nose-low attitude is driving me crazy... ;) http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/68543.jpg:D Kevin
March 24, 200422 yr I'm not sure, but I think there's an FS2002 and an FS2004 version of the gauge - make sure you are using the right one.
