Switched to 2D panel as default, FO still won't start engines ?

Featured Replies

I found a button setting that was causing my 2-D cockpit to switch to VC. So that is solved and NGX loads up with no problems in 2-D.FO saying 'you might want to check that' about my CDU/FMC setup. What values MUST be entered before FO is happy with the CDU ?
Hi. Can you share with me what was that button setting and how did you fix it? May be I will be able to fix same problem. May Ezdok gives me this problem, may be not. I still cannot have 2D on start up. Thanks

Hi allCurious, in my case was the Edzok Camera Tool the mistake! After I set the tool to disable before I load the NGX in 2D and FS2Crew, I don't have any problem.Best Regards from SwitzerlandOliver
Hi.How did you do that? I still cannot fix 2D issue. Thanks.

I had the same issue. Although FSX is set to load 2D by default it would, after briefly displaying the NGX (and all other aircraft) in 2D, switch to 3D. The fix is to disable EZDOK before loading the NGX. I must say that before I purchased this addon I wondered if EZDOK settings would be a hassle. Hope there aren't any more.Bruce

Hi Bruce.Looks to me everything is working OK now but I wonder how do you disable EZDOK before loading FSX? My EZDOK stars at the same time with FSX and cannot find a tool disabling EZDOK outside FSX.Thank you.

You fire up FSX then open the EZDOK studio and under options select Define keys and buttons and there you will find a Global enable setting (it is actually an enable/disable function). I have this mapped to a joystick button and I use this a lot to temporarily disable EZDOK camera effects when using the mouse to click on Cockpit buttons. You need to do all this before loading the NGX. Once the NGX is loaded in 2D you can switch to 3D and enable EZDOK.Bruce
