I'm guilty as charged. When I'm not practicing navigating the islands in various conditions, or when I don't feel like being `serious simmer' I load up free flight or multiplayer and do silly stuff like this also. It's a great stress reliever. That's what I enjoy most about the sim.. If you want to sim, you can do that, but also if you want to `game' you can do that also. Yet neither impede on each other..Well.. Unless you're practicing your VOR navigation and leave mulitiplayer public and a Stearman comes out of a rip in the time space continuum and knocks you out of the air. :LMAO:

Haha...I have that experience of someone trying to ramp me while i deliver a cargo. I called out to others for air escort and try to evade him and finally landed and secure the cargo. Great satisfaction! I call this "mid-air thriller"...pushing your flying skill to the limit. (Note : these guys like to ramp you while you are on final approach...lol)

Haha looks like fun things you can do in FLIGHT!

Happy Flying,

I was part of the historic record-breaking "fly-in" event. I had just finished a 'cross-country' passenger job in IMC in heavy fog with an ILS landing at below minimums and went looking for some R&R after that white-knuckle adventure - we had a great time with lots of laughing. The 29kt winds during our fly-in required some good mushing skills :)

nice videos! mus give that a try. just 2 questions:1. which weather scenario is that with high winds and clear skies?2. wonder how to get that many fellow simmers in a session. If at all I just see 1 other pilot popping in then out again. what is the scecret of a flyin like that? do you need to live in a specific country? how is MS 'balancing' or assigning servers (if at all) or is this just a time zone thing since I am right now in europe and most sessions are in the US? but also in europe there should be more than 1 pilot only? and yes, MP is set to public...

I don't get it either - Sometimes I can Quick Match over and over and keep getting the same room with the same one or two people and other times I get a room full. I thought it had to do with proximity, but I had a room full of Aussies and Americans mixed one time. Just keep searching, you'll come across a room full (and then you have to hope the host doesn't hang up on everyone). You can try 'friending' some of those in the video and then you can easily find the rooms they are in.

If I remember correctly, its the storm cells theme. One thing I noticed about the weather system, although storm cells theme was selected, it does not means the area you are flying will have the storm cells. They are kind of moving around randomly, I guess. And thats why we have clear sky and strong wind. Anyone feel this is the case?

If you are referring to the "hit and run", hehe, bring it on! My establishment of air escort pilots will be waiting for you.... :LMAO:

Indeed a historic event! And here's the video - We Make History .....dedicated to all who scarified their " crashes" for glory Just%20Kidding.gif

loved the wacky group landings. great imagination and skills.how did you go about co-ordinating all the pilots? Did you know each other prior to the challenge and set yourself up a private multiplayer session?

I only did the initial calling - " Rooftop landing challenge! Anyone?"....They were a few very sporting pilots in that session, some are friends I know from previous flight sessions and some I don't know at all. But once the stunts activities get going, all others will take notice and they will join in. So yeah...not a pre-arrange session and it was a public session.A few of the guys were on mic, and they were doing some very interesting commentary...After you landed, it is really fun to watch others approaching and performing the landing stunts.Of course there were times when I logged on and there were not many online...so I will just do some serious flying delivering cargo. You could try to get others to join you to do something interesting in your session, just have to tell them what you want to do. My friends and I have identified quite a few stunts, 10 stunts has been recorded, and another 3 stunts is coming up......Nail%20Biting.gif and the tower landing stunt discovered by styckx is the ultimate one you must try. Record!...2 planes on the tower without crashing for 10 sec. lol.You could check out the video for the 10 listed stunts if you like. When you are bored flying, just pick one and shout....https://www.youtube.com/user/FastCheetah702?feature=mheeCheers.

:LMAO:That was awesome, I am still laughing! Thanks for that!
