Yeah full flaps and slow and there is space to stop .

Seems pretty short. You must have been lined up pretty good with little speed.25% fuel is still quite a bit for the islands, plus there's no fuel there! :P

The Maule really does slow down fairly quick, especially with full flaps. Definitely seems possible that he landed there before hitting trees. I'd love to know where that's at so I can try it for myself!

is this one marked on the map? which Island is it on?it looks like a strip I bounced the Stearman into...

Give us the location and we'll organize a fly-in

They need to add a chainsaw DLC so you can cut down trees that are in the way.

Looks like FSX too me, blurry ground and gravelstrip, and "The FSX Special" : Trees too close to the runway!Sorry guys, back to FSX, C Ya...PS: The only diff. I can spot, is that the trees are all black in Flight.

First of all, that's not even a runway, as the OP plainly stated.Second, the trees aren't "black." The are very dark green, and you are seeing them from the shady side. And finally, if you don't want to "like" Flight, at least try to come up with some real, legitimate reason(s)... :LMAO:

So you are going "back to FSX" because Flight "Looks like FSX too me, blurry ground and gravelstrip, and "The FSX Special" : Trees too close to the runway!"? :Hypnotized:

Seiously,To say it looks like FSX and the trees are black , means either you have not tried Flight yet, or if you have you have spent an extremely small amount of time in it.If you want to have a preconceived notion on what Flight is and choose not to give it a go, nothing at all wrong with that, we all have choices and one of the beauties right now is we now even have another choice in what flight sim program we have on our computers... well you know what they say about " judging a book by it's cover" :wink:And really, the only reason I do these type of replies, is I was one who had that preconceived notion, thought very ill of MS Flight based on the pre-release information provided, and had no intention whatsoever in downloading even the free core product to have a looksee. And then due to circumstances I found myself homebound for a time and got quite bored, and decided what the heck I will have a look - I was quite surprised...

Hehe!Mission accomplished, have a nice Flight guys, really I mean it..FSX?With ORBX, UTX, REX, FSG2010/Ultimate, AS2012, and what not, I see no reason to move anywhere.I was a Flight beta-tester, so I know the drill, and was surprised why they even wanted beta-testers, when they did not listen to any suggestions...Oh well, it´s just a game, relax. VOR radial with DME distance for this "runway", please.

Funny... I saw more than a few things that had been suggested by beta testers included in the released game, including a few of my own.Hook
