I don't use the FPS counter, that's like chasing a rainbow.

If my performance is smooth thats the bottom line, for me anyway.

I get better performance in 'Fullscreen', so that is what I use.

Full screen for me on a 32" Samsung. My laptop runs ASE and Plan-G. And it surfs very well during those long flights.

Window mode. Better frame rate, and all other programs available at taskbar.
