April 18, 201214 yr Thanks Carenado for the SP. only thing I would add is a CRS/HDG click spots on the bottom left and right corners of EHSI. I know, not real but would make quick changes easier in the sim. Well done guys! April 18, 201214 yr Hi Carenado, thank you for making this great plane even more enjoyable with that SP1 ... nice 430 integration and nice to see most of the obvious bugs corrected! For me this is the winner from day-1 , but now I think after SP1 the "crowds" will love her the even more! And thank you Carenado for reading and listening the formus! :Peace: Best regards,
April 18, 201214 yr I have found the update, but cannot download it. When I try - nothing happens! Me too... I got this link : http://www.carenado.com/CarSite/Portal/SiteDownloadPat.php?p1=54 and then a blank... I am trying to get help from Carenado but their message is incomprehensible: "Try using the sending email option to yourself". No reply after that, I am stuck Maybe I should re-dowload the whole plane. I know, not real but would make quick changes easier in the sim. Well done guys! I published the code that you can add to the EHSI to get that, in the "Heading Update" post. I was unable to convince Carenado to add that in SP1, so if you would like this feature, you can still apply the original fix, it works with SP1 also. And while you are at it, increase the font-size from 22 to 26.. (see the post) Bert
April 18, 201214 yr I wish the update addressed the lack of night lighting in the cockpit. I've found that it's either all on or all off, in which case the cockpit becomes either too bright or too dark. No one flies around at night with the dome light on. If I switch off the dome light, the instruments become nearly impossible to read. That is my biggest disappointment. Carenado support said to me it is an FSX limitation, yet I have trouble believing it given the number of lighting configurations available in PMDG's NGX. Same here, the lighting is terrible, unbelievable bright, you can't really see out the windscreen as your eyes can't get used to the dark. Hopefully a toned down version is possible, I love flying at dusk and night but not in this bird. -Iain Watson-
