April 19, 201214 yr I haven't checked, but it would be nice to have a "per user" setting to turn off or on. Just means I have to watch where I'm mousing.
April 20, 201214 yr sorry, doesnt work that way. There is no per-user setting. April 20, 201214 yr Too bad. Oh well... just wanted to vote out that I'm annoyed by it, because it pops up all the time, since I'm used to browse with the mouse over the threads.
April 20, 201214 yr An issue (really, more of an inconvenience) with the popup is that in Firefox 11 I generally use the middle mouse button/wheel to open thread in new tab (middlemouse.openNewWindow). What I find when I do this while the popup is open, it just dismisses the popup and I have to click again to actually open the thread in a new tab. double clicking isn't that big a deal, just this is the only place I have that behavior. scott s. .
April 22, 201214 yr Commercial Member I kinda like being able to preview the threads without clicking away. Regards, Dave Opper HiFi Support Manager
April 23, 201214 yr Yes, it was intended as a feature enhancement. Is it so bad that you would have me remove it when the silent majority appear to at least tolerate it, if not like it? It has been there for a week or two now.
April 23, 201214 yr I will learn to tolerate it since the silent majority doesn't voice (which I would take as like it).
April 27, 201214 yr Yes. It does get in the way. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
April 27, 201214 yr I'll join the vocal group... it annoys the heck out of me... Also, not a big fan of the topic I just read disappearing from the new topics list immediately... Just nigglings, but since someone asked...
May 3, 201214 yr Me too. I would really like to be able to disable this annoying "feature". Rather than using the old political justification of "the silent majority must be OK with it because they are silent", why not initiate a poll?
