Still disagree with this policy, requiring one to purchase one plane to get another for a total of $62.90 in US currency (a first in the flightsim community). Please don't compare other facets of life to flightsim, I am comparing apples to apples, other add-ons to each other, and this is the most expensive add-on so far...btw...You can purchase Captin Sim's 727 Professional(all models 100/200 and freight versions) for $39.95 or less with same or better quality detail and can can you compare the Virtual cockpit to Lock-On's, the best virtual cockpit ever made.

Simply don't purchase! I guess 20 dollars for a SOUND SET alone is ok with you though right? Give us a break and spare us please. I suppose you also complain to Rolls Royce because their cars cost more than Volkswagon bettles eh?[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Same as I said in the other thread, All I have to say is I just bought Battlefield Vietnam for 29.99 at Best Buy. Oh and most whole games are 29.99-49.99. PMDG is just one plane. All I will do is just not buy it, simple as that.

>Oh and most whole games are 29.99-49.99.You got it. They are "games" that are suited for a 12-year old. And I can get you an ice cream cone for a mere $2.99.Michael J.

See what I mean, Precision Simulator 744 1.3 Full Version at $260.00 (we have a winner here) are they going to sell any...I don't think so.I see people our justifying the $62.90 price, I just gave you examples of equivalent software at much lower prices.

Forgotten battles + Ace expansion pack= $39.99 Best combat simulator made ever ..PMDG Boeing 737NG $39.95(Base) and $22.95(800/900 special upgrade price) =$62.90*:-* :-hmmm :-hmmm

> are they going to sell any...I>don't think so.Then think again. They ARE selling it.Michael J.

Huh, Darryl, PS 744 has been out for a long time and they've sold a bunch of them:+ No point in continuing. You've got an agenda and it's obviously not going to change. Have a great day :)

Hey Fred, Great job by you and the rest of the beta testers. This sucker is fantastic!

>See what I mean, Precision Simulator 744 1.3 Full Version at>$260.00 (we have a winner here) are they going to sell any...I>don't think so.>>I see people our justifying the $62.90 price, I just gave you>examples of equivalent software at much lower prices.>You miss the point. They've already sold quite a few. PS1 has had a rather dedicated following since 1997. They are able to price it that high because those who realize and appreciate what it contains would pay any amount for it. People who do not realize nor appreciate what it contains would just be wasting money no matter how little it cost. And to price low enough that the average simmer would consider buying it, would not be fair to the developers for the amount of realism they engineered into it. So by pricing so high, it works out for everybody. Those hard core simmers or engineers who find a need for it has a product that fits their level of expertise, and the developer is able to earn a viable return on the smaller market segment that the product is appropriate for.I see a similarity with the PMDG 737. The amount of detail that is there would most likely not be appreciated or noticed by the casual simmer. In fact, casual simmers would probably find something like this frustrating since they have to actually go and dedicate themselves to reading manuals and what nots to get it off the ground instead of just pressing Ctrl-E. Those simmers who've read the product description and realize what they're getting would be willing to pay the premium for the product. The casual simmer whose only focus is that it costs $60 would be actually better off without it since there would be less frustration in their lives without having to learn something complicated. So it works out for everybody. The hard core simmer gets a hard core sim, the casual simmer would not need to waste any amount of money on something which will only gather dust, and the developers get a fair return for the effort even at the lower unit sales.

>Hey Fred, Great job by you and the rest of the beta testers.>This sucker is fantastic! Thanks George! Most of the credit goes to Randy and the others (Randy and I have our differences, but I will give him credit where credit is due). I only was a small drop in the proverbial bucket :)I am very glad you are enjoying this beast :-cool

>Wonderful and thanks for your "Law of Minimum Astonishment">comment. >>The originator simply stated that he believes the cost exceeds>the value.
