is this a good buy or hold off?

Any thoughts on modifying the cfg and/or air file to simulate the Blackhawk XP135A engine conversion? That's supposed to bump up top cruise speed to 270 KTAS.

should i wait or ok now?

I see no reason to wait! I waited out SP1 before I purchased, but have been very satisfied, even before SP2. I have a few good twins but this is already clearly my favorite! I am not a speed freak but like the speed and range from this twin. I also specifically appreciate the realism of the IAS bar to OAT, PA, and GS (RXP 430). Perhaps the best realism there I have seen!

Correction: Average of 185 KIAS @ 25,000 ... GS is 225-ish

Hawk, it's actually faster if you don't go that high. Stick to around 14-16 thousand and the TAS is around 240.

that is a bummer.. I have the need for speed these days.. I was hoping for something faster..

And you didn't want something as boring as a jet? I can't figure out if this thread is an inside or outside loop!

I'm to busy.. in the real world.. I would love to fly jets but it feels that I would have to quit my day job for that.. but I'm still kind of leaning on this direction.. but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Ciao!

If you want something faster there is a Flight1 G1000 driven King Air 200 with black hawk mods in the works that will give you some good speed.

No release date yet, but "Yoda" is behind it so you know it will get done. :Loser:

Cheers
