Alaska soon to be released?

Featured Replies

That would certainly set off a protest storm but would not bother me in the least. Just give me something with tundra tires, floats, and of course a VC is a must.

Absolutely! :good:

First off, I was never complaining. I have stated that I would love a June release, I just don't believe that it's coming. Today is the 2 weeks out for the 27th so if we see something in the next day or so I will be more inclined to believe a June release. ...

I'll admit the deafening silence is worrisome. Still keeping fingers crossed though.

Reading all this back and forth about the release/non-release of future DLC makes me chuckle.

It will happen when it happens. It will be what it will be. All the speculation in the world isn't going to change that one little bit.

Relax. Smile. Enjoy what you currently have. Patience is a virtue after all.

There's no place like this place, so this must be the place.

I guess they are doing this "server maintenance" to prepare the system for Alaska...I wouldn´d be surpised if Alaska is released this week!

That's the point of a forum. We're not yelling at Microsoft, we just having a discussion. If nobody talked about things and expressed opinions this forum would be pretty barren.

It's not like I have anything better to do while I'm stuck at work.

Oh, wait....

:lazy:

Well the Wednesday news is up at the Flight site and no new news. Maybe Friday they will post something.

Well, Alaska will not be released today...

No problem, I'll fly a few more missions, trying to get even higher ratings from my passengers :-)

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

Right now you could almost believe that they don't know when it will be released, either. Only thing to do is exactly what we have been doing, which is wait and then wait some more.

They will get back to us about it eventually, and the only certainty is that we will jump all over it.

Higher? I'm going for lower... it's much more entertaining!

Well I don’t know if I will be purchasing or not. If they just get the autopilot working, I will be willing to buy the scenery and airplanes with cockpits. I want all the features and then some from FSX but can wait until they are added.

For me it's really dependant on the aircraft. I could be happy flying in Hawaii, I would just like larger aircraft and more missions. Things like more rescue operations or putting out fires, etc.

Well that's another idea. DLC for DLC. "Hawaii missions pack"

Would be perfect for 3rd parties if they were allowed.
