Flight 1 Meridian, 421 Golden Eagle, or 441 Conquest?

Featured Replies

The Golden Eagle has been my favorite since 2002.

They are basically always on the governor, adding gas causes the blades to take a bigger bite and indicate more torque, but the rpms should always be the same. After purchasing it, I played around with it a little to see if I can get it to do some of that, but was unsuccessful. They basically got it as good as it is probably going to get, once you put in a little power, the rpms settle at 100% pretty quick. Once you get off the ground and fly around, what they've done is pretty close to what you should see in the real plane.

Golden Eagle 421 -- Another perfect model for FS2k4 (with>the update that is). This aircraft was originally made for>FS2k2...>>3. Piper Meridian -- Here is a problem aircraft for FS2k4. >Although this aircraft has been updated for FS2k4, it still>runs like a pig. This plane

<<>>I am sorry, but I think you are mistaken. The 441 utilizes Garrett Airesearch TPE 331's and rpm idle is 65 - 70%, not the same as in flight which is 96% minimum and 100% allowable. Which this model does.Regards,Jim Rhoads

Thanks everyone for you help! I really appreciate it! I think I'm going to give the meridian a shot!Once again...thanks everyone!

Your right Michael, I didn't look at his system specs... What I've mentioned above is not propaganda, Flight1 knows of the issue with Hyper Threading and supplied me with the work around.

I have the C441 and the C421. refitted both with Jetline 2 gauges from Reality XP. You cant beat either plane IMHO, though the Conquest is now my favorite between them.Eric
