He started/hijacked a topic pushing a product, which I believe is sold by the same outfit that sells his own product.

 

As a matter of public interest, one post without a link, would perhaps be acceptable from a NON-"commercial member", but ....

 

If you don't see this as a conflict of interest and/or breaking of the forum rules by a commercial member, then no explanation will suffice for you.

I don't know what are the rules for commercial members as I am not one, that is why I'm asking.

 

I don't think "he started/hijacked" the topic by answering a question that was already posted but you can correct me if I'm wrong, as for the link....was it not posted in the right forum, I can see a problem if you post a product not releated to the thread/forum, let say Orbx product on the XP-10 or Flight forums, I can assure you that members do not have to be under a banner or out in the open to push what they sale....

 

To be honest with you I don't see it like you do, but I may be wrong, so let see what the mods. do think about it.

The moderators and administrators have been discussing this thread. We have decided to lock it because of the insertion, repetition and even expansion of product recommendations that may have gone beyond what policy seems to allow. Too bad, for otherwise it was a great topic!
