July 27, 201213 yr Very nice new video preview about the take-off calculation: Georges - OpenStreetMap - Ubuntu GNU/Linux -
July 28, 201213 yr Funny how a demo of only 2 pages of an FMC can be so convincing. If that level of detail is consistent across the FMC board, I'm sold! Bring on the T7! July 30, 201213 yr I don't know if it's bad juju to link to the .Org (and mods, feel free to edit if this is inappropriate), but I just read 4 pages of awesome right here: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=60440&st=0 At this point, the visual model could be a 2-dimensional model of a paper airplane with a Flight Simulator 4.0 panel, just as long as it has that FMC. This is looking like the real deal. This is looking like the real deal. This is a specific topic about avionics and the FMS. So it's about systems, not about eye candy or about a flight model. I was a Flight Simulator 4.0 user and I can tell you it didn't support this resolution and number of colors. The visual model can be seen in this topic: http://forums.x-plan...showtopic=51540 Or in a video here: Georges - OpenStreetMap - Ubuntu GNU/Linux -

I was a Flight Simulator 4.0 user and I can tell you it didn't support this resolution and number of colors. Right. And to clarify what I said, I meant that as long as it has that FMC, I couldn't care less if the visual model was a paper airplane and the panel resembled something out of FS4. I'm a sucker for a well done FMC. September 5, 201213 yr Well, after posting the question, I did some looking. Looks like it's only hours away per the last couple of pages in this thread. http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=51540&st=750 Credit card at the ready...
