Your Thought's and opinion's please.

Is this package worth the money required?

For the money, I would expect PMDG quality.

I got burned once. Not gonna repeat the error.

Hi,

Since nobody said anything about this product,I decided to buy and I did last week.

Well my friend,it´s a complete unfinished product,it´s unbelievable nowadays how some people release unfinished product and let US PAY for Alpha or Beta stuff. ie.Airsimmer,CaptainSim 777 and this BlackBox Airbus X'treme Prologue.

I know that some fan boys will come and say that have a lot of potencial in the future,blah,blah,blah... but the thuth is an UNFINISHED product. If you don´t believe check their Forum (link below) and check the posts and their responses or lack of that.

Sorry but I´m very disappointed to be a fool AGAIN and spend my money with an unfinished product.

You said you would expect PMDG quality... me too BUT...not even close.

hmuller, thanks for the update. I feel your pain, trust me. I can only hope that in September a better solution is awaiting you.

I think some of you really need to stop expecting every developer to be PMDG because every developer is not PMDG... Just because one developer sets a standard like PMDG does (and they do set a good standard) not every developer has the means to afford that standard or even want to spend the time to reach that standard. So please guys don't be disappointed or complain when a plane is released and its not like the NGX or something. If that is what you expect you guys really need to have a reality check. I think the BBS Airbus is ok, it obviously still needs work and that point was WELL established before you may or may have not bought the product and you all know that, so there is no reason to complain because its not totally finished. Give the company a chance to show you what they can do and evaluate the product fully yourself and don't base your opinion solely on "he-said, she-said". I am pretty sure half of the people commenting has not even brought the product themselves.

Agree, but in general, people will tend to use price as a comparative reference point for expected quality. Which they should.

True but hard to do when you are dealing with different companies... If everyone had the same skills and resources than thats a different story, but in this one, I don't think its the case lolz.

I may be totally wrong here but isn't Black Box Simulations the latest iteration of the former PSS? If yes then they do have a background in Airbus sims however the "Prologue /X'treme" thing and incomplete release is an unfortunate reminder of the ill-fated Airsimmer effort.

I, for one, am hopeful that BBS will come though and produce a fully functioning simulation of the Bus. If FSLabs lives up to their Concorde, their version of the Bus will be a solid performer and for us simmers that can only be good news. Two decent Airbus releases...there's nothing like a little competition to get the creative juices flowing

The FSL Airbus won't 'descent'. It will be "GREAT"!

Believe me.

People now think it´s OK to pay €45.00 for an unfinished product... and I´m not expecting every developer to be PMDG, As a customer I just want a fine and READY product.

Completely agree. Im fine with good products, and theyre usually priced well sucvh as QualitySIm. Not everything has to be PMDG or LEVELD in depth, however this trend of paying for unfinished projects is crazy. Ive yet to see one fullfil its promise and in thge case of BBS when they were PSS cutting me off completely from my purchased products. That alone will ensure I dont touch anything they do again and wait for FSLABS.

Hi,

you are absolutely right in expecting a finished product and not a paid-for Beta one but in the description of the "Prologue" version BBS are quite clear about what you get initially. Then there are the bi-weekly (if BBS is to be believed) updates leading to the "full" X'treme version of the Bus. From what I can understand if you decide to buy the X'treme version you will be refunded the price of the Prologue and have to pay the difference (30 euros). It is also mentioned clearly that the X'treme version (which will be the complete package) will be available in September 2012.

Forty five euros is a steep price to pay for an add-on (beta funding?) and I can understand your frustration but it's no good bashing the company when it's all there in black and white if you bothered to read through the site and not hit the PAY button in haste.

However, either way one chooses to look at it, 75 euros for an add-on is hard to justify especially when the company's previous history leaves room for doubt. I hope they live up to the self-generated hype and you finally get a product that will satisfy you completely.

I think having to pay for a unfinished product it not that bad. If you knew what you were buying well where is the harm in that . Now if they did not be to clear in the description that is a different story. But having unfinished product i think reduce piracy in some way. Because imagine how much updates they would have to release to make it a full version . But then again when they finally release the full version someone will always try to publish the product online which is very bad. But BBS doing what they are doing now i see it as purchasing a preorder product the only difference you can test the product even dow not everything may work. An threw time updates after updates the product will be fully working. An their you have it you help the developer make cash an at the end of the day you may end up liking their product even more. I could understand if you didn't know what you where buying . But if everything was stated in the description i can really say no more . Just to wait till the full release. I don't have the product i am planning on getting it after i here some good remarks about their work which i know would be positive threw times . Just give them sometime remember airbus are not to out their kind of people to release their simulation system, how they work an so on . It is not like boeing airbus keep their technology to them self. An not give out to the public just like that . An someone correct me if am wrong . I like to be corrected when am wrong about something .
