RL 737-700 startup video

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I just found this video on YouTube. It has 9 minutes of pre-flight preparation aboard a Southwest 737-700.

If you go to about 2:56 in the video, the person who's filming briefly discusses FSX and PMDG with the F/O.

Thanks,

Kevin L

Remember these guys do it daily, sometimes 7 days a week ha. This Captain likes to be speedy speedy though! When I first get in a flight deck everything's always so delicate to me. Even the small props I fly ha. Good idea of how small that flight deck really is too!

Interesting to see how this airline's ops differ.

For example, I noticed the flight engineers didn't leave the window heat on for the pilots, and these guys turned the pumps on during the overhead setup instead of just testing them.

Lol...he wrote it on a napkin. Lol!

It also could have been a turnaround flight where the engineers never set foot in the cockpit unless there was a problem.
