I got the 310. Nice weighty feel to the flight dynamics. I needed a twin that had some distance to it. I'll have to pick up the Baron too at this price.

I would like to get some more feedback for the B55 fps with standard gps. So any further opinions would be greatly aprecciated.

Also, how many product activations do we get when we buy over the avsim-shop?

Thanks.

I got the Baron, and must say it is a beautiful aircraft with lots of detail and seems to have an excellent flight model. Unfortunately, my older computer struggles with frame rates on this one. It seems to be mostly caused by the GPS units. The Milviz 310R offered a "free radio" version, but I don't find that on the B55.

Dale, simply replacing the two GNS units will automatically cause the flat ("free radio") display to be used rather than the 3d knobbed display...

...thus allowing one to replace everything in the radio stack with alternate avionics.

For RXP users, simply renaming the panel.cfg file to something such as default_panel.cfg and then renaming the RXP_Panel.cfg to panel.cfg will cause an alternate 3d display to be used which lines up with the RXP knobs and buttons.

Activations are unlimited...

What Bill said.... and just a bit more... If you click on your User ID at the top left of the forum display (that area is called your USER CONTROL PANEL), you will see an a selection labled "CLIENT AREA". If you enter that, you will find all purchases (with the new store - not the old store), invoices, downloads, licenses, etc. You can also file trouble tickets there and get responses to those trouble tickets. A one stop location for your account.

Thanks for the info n4gix and Tom.

The number of activations is important for me and it is good to hear that there are no limits when purchasing from avsim. I mean fsx is not a game that has an end or so. Most customers play it for years and a limit of like 3 activations, that some shops only offer, is just not enough in my opinion. It is only a question of time until you use that up as there are many events that can make or force you to make a new system install over the years (I learned that the hard way...).

I am not sure about the Baron fps though. They appear to be a bit low on some systems as reported in another thread here. But for 15 bucks it is probably worth the risk.

y'all should be jumping on the T-38A ... that is one fun plane to fly and it uses steam gauges and it has EZCA profiles

I agree about this. Milviz' T-38A is a masterpiece and should be in all serious simmers hangar IMO.

Any store that does only 3 activations with our products and then refuses to give another one is a company we will stop doing business with. Please PM with the name of said company and, if we are there, we will not be shortly after.

I'm not sure why some people are having FPS issues with the B-55 but... there does, however, seem to be some who are... I'd like to find out what the constant is....

So, for those who are experiencing slow frames, please pm me your system specs and your addons that are running.

thank
