August 24, 201213 yr http://www.roychaffi...rcs-panels.html Have you tried to download his latest B25 because the links don't work for me? Norm
August 24, 201213 yr Author Hi Norm: Yes, I have the AC installed and running using the link that I provided. I just tried the link again and it brought me right to his web site. There are two download options, one for Windows 32 bit and one for 64 bit. Be sure to select the correct one for your OS. Regards, Chris
August 24, 201213 yr Post partially deleted.... - Just scroll down and you'll find it, Fisheye. I installed it, but it's an awfully convoluted setup before you v=can fly. I didn't get that far before I deleted the package. It appeared to be all in 2D, with no options available for VC operation. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
August 24, 201213 yr Thanks for the pointer. All works well for me in 32 bit, with a nice VC. The gauge registration bat didn't do-its-thing, so lots of clicking for the first start up. I liked it and given time will have fun learning to operate it properly.
August 24, 201213 yr Fisheye -- This B-25 and its panel are almost the same as the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum (MAAM) B-25H "Briefing Time." I've had both the MAAM and Chaffin versions for years, in FS9 and FSX. Roy Chaffin worked on the MAAM models, I believe, and then got into a beef with the MAAM folks and offered the B-25 on his own. I remember reading about it on Chaffin's website while still living in San Diego. Both versions are excellent; Chaffin's has the advantage of being free. Good to see your post, Norm. Keep your emails coming and greet everyone in the flight sim group. Linc Westdal (On a personal note, Norm, I had a beautiful real-world flight yesterday from Camas 1W1 to Tacoma Narrows KTIW. Flew up in a Mooney and back in a Beech A36. My friend was asked to get the A36 and fly it back for the owner. Now I'm flying this same flight in FSX with Orbx PNW.)
August 24, 201213 yr The links aren't working for me. After some nslookups i figured that removing the WWW from WWW.ROYCHAFFIN.CO.UK will make the links work. August 24, 201213 yr Hi NaMcO, thank you for the advice. Taking off WWW made it indeed working. Bruno Bruno
August 24, 201213 yr Excellent airplane. I too had a problem with the gauge bat file not working but once done with the individual "Yes" and "Run's", all worked great. The plane did have a noticeable frame rate hit on my system, but not enough to keep me from flying it. The plane's exterior is simply beautiful. And the little details, such as the blue flames in the exhaust shrouds, look amazing. It flew very stable on my quick test flight from Seattle to Bremerton. Looking forward to my next flight tonight! August 24, 201213 yr I can get to the RCS Panels page with no problems...however when I click the 64 bit version link, I get the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message. Is anyone else having this problem?
