August 26, 201213 yr It would be nice if there was some kind of update? The manuals are out but didn't the 737NGX come out 7 months after the manuals were out? JeffG I'm thinking closer to 10-11 months. I got my manuals Christmas of 2010. The NGX was released 8/2011. The manuals had been out for quite a while before I got mine. Rob said they waited to release the 777 manuals closer to release in the post, so that's a good indication it won't be as long as the NGX! Thanks for the comment. That's a nicer thought than "almost a year". ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules

August 27, 201213 yr Author I think he is not implying that we ARE "near" release but we are getting closer to the release date, i.e. as every day passes we are getting NEARER to the release date. Yess thank you!! Thats what I meant!!! As we get NEARER to release to set out the features we know (partly sure of) and build a picture of the 777X. That way we can start our imaginations running on things we might actually expect rather than speculating aimlessly. This post was created to help put the different aspects of this addon together to give a clearer view Flying Tigers Group

August 27, 201213 yr Freedom of speech :) let her rep :) I will read it... Well, put it this way. I am "of a younger age" According to Statistics, most men die between 70-80 in effect, i am nearing death BUT, its still a way off, and, from now to there, a lot will change, e.g get a job, get married etc etc. However, Something happens. i eventually COULD die later or younger, so, anything could mean that the release dtae changes, and, although we are nearing it, we are still a way off in comparison, and could be further off than we all think, but some changes could alter "the plans for my death" and when i die. Freedom of speech :) let her rep :) I will read it... 70-80 is listed as "Natural death" but i could have a car accident when im 40 i could live longer because of my healthier self so whats listed could change, because, yes we are nearing it, but its a long way off and things that were originally stated change. You cant say "this will be in it/ this will happen to you at this time etc etc". It can only be said when the time comes... -ANDY GREENFlight Diary Account : http://flightdiary.net/SpeedBird7735 Hours experience in Grob 115, 30 minutes in Grob 102 10 Hours in Grob 109 PLUS SOLO! 23rd November 2013!
August 27, 201213 yr Agreed Mr.Green but I think most people, including me, are just really awaiting this plane and are trying to paint an image of what this plane will be like when, if at all, it is released... Marc M.

Fair enough, i can't defeat a man who has called me MR Green, (although, theoretically, its Still Master Green ;) ), just thought i'd bring my point into context... :) -ANDY GREENFlight Diary Account : http://flightdiary.net/SpeedBird7735 Hours experience in Grob 115, 30 minutes in Grob 102 10 Hours in Grob 109 PLUS SOLO! 23rd November 2013!

September 1, 201213 yr My goodness, you all are a cranky bunch. Who cares what the man said. If he wants think the release is near and you do not, then quietly snicker and move on. Stop trying to 1 up and debate him. After all, how do you all know it's not near. Heck it could be tomorrow...then who would look silly? On topic...I, for one, would love to just have a working 777.
