Carenado's FSX stuff to the backburner?

Featured Replies

It seems they're putting out FS2004 and XP stuff in front of FSX projects... sort of backwards isn't it? Maybe it's just me... from the looks of their web site neither the TBM nor the SR22 have had an update in a while...

Thoughts? Speculation?

Keep in mind that all those birds have already been released for FSX.

Much quicker to make something compatible than it is to make it from scratch.

They are working on getting their products out for all platforms... P3D, XP10, FS9.....

I would like to see them progressing to the state where we can tell which avionics will be featured. I guess the TBM will be the G1000 as in their C182 plus an extra screen. But the Cirrus may allow for some RXP units, if she comes with an Avidyne setup.

Or am I mixing things up and that stuff is already clear?

Amazing platform variety indeed.

I'd like them to fix and complete the current G1000, before releasing any more aircraft...

Lets see what C182T SP2 brings!

That Cirrus version has the G1000.. so there wouldn't be a spot for the RXP units. I'd still buy it as the Cirrus is almost my favorite plane... and I used to work for them :)

Ok, I didn't know that. I thought it was still open. Thanks for the information.

Still it won't stop me from tainting it with a RXP 530W popup lol
