Does anyone know of recent developments in this project (author around here???)

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

Hi Jcomm,

thanks for your interest. There is not much people interested in the project :(. So every new one results in more motivation. I'm still working on it though not that much as I used to. Currently modeling properller to get the engine assembly completed and animate it. I hope to finish it before x-mass ;)

actually in progress (engine assembly):

Well I think it's interesting. Some great attention to detail on this glider model. Impressive stuff.

Ahah!!!! Incredible - I had just polled your Blog before coming here to avsim :-) Just noticed the news!!!! Looking GREAT!!!!!

It's surely the X-Plane10 add-on, even being a one-person project, probably not even commercial ( you should consider making it payware!!! ), I have more expectations about ;-)

Keep the good work!

The engine is finally completed including texturing. Only 512x512 px! It required lot of polygon by polygon texture mapping ;)

Check the x-soaring blog for more details. Here is also a short engine display video...

Awesome! Looking forward to soaring from my hometown´s glider field!

Jan
