September 1, 201213 yr Just installed the JS41, and simply applied takeoff thrust to fly around with it but after a few seconds I got this: RoyalSkies.CO.UK Youtube Vidz !My website will be back soon with new paints and videos! September 1, 201213 yr Author Gret shot,Are both Engines on fire? yup Configuration Manager in the PMDG folder. uncheck: Allow Engine Failures HLJAMES thanks for the info ^_^ RoyalSkies.CO.UK Youtube Vidz !My website will be back soon with new paints and videos! September 1, 201213 yr That happened to me untill i read the manual. I hate having to do that! You probably needed to remove start locks (go into beta range on power levers) or were still on Conditions Levers Taxi.
September 1, 201213 yr Did that a few times before i figured it out. Adam HP Omen Obelisk Gaming Computer, Intel Core i7-9700, Kingston HyperX Fury 16GB DDR4 System Memory 4.7GHz 8 cores, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super Graphics with 8GB GDDR6 memory, PSU 750 watts, 1TB hard drive, Samsung T7 2TB SSD, 512 GB SSD, WD 5TB HDD, Logitech HOTAS X52 Pro Joystick, AOC 27" monitor,
September 1, 201213 yr My first couple flights with Her graced me with two blown engines after a 3 foot flight.....gotta love PMDG.....They should change their company name from PMDG to RTFM. LOL...I always always always blow past the manuals on my new addons....at least for the first couple flights until I get tired of not being able to taxi, let alone get off the ground. September 1, 201213 yr Love the JS 41... Startup itself is a fun experience, let alone flying it. So easily to blow it up by forgetting to flip a simple toggle switch back and forth before cranking over an engine. ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING / i9-9900k @ 4.7 all cores w/ NOCTUA NH-D15S / 2080ti / 32GB G.Skill 3200 RIPJAWS / 1TB Evo SSD / 500GB Evo SSD / 2x 3TB HDD / CORSAIR CRYSTAL 570X / IPSG 850W 80+ PLATINUM / Dual 4k Monitors
September 2, 201213 yr Yup, fried many a J41 engine in my sim too....not hard to do. FS2Crew is awesome with it too as well as highly suggested. Al Stiff
September 2, 201213 yr I agree, FS2Crew is great with this bird. I got the combo pack that PMDG offered and never looked back. I wonder how many millions of dollars I have smoked on the ramp by forgetting something that must be tattooed to pilots who fly this think.....would be a fun fact if we kept up with how much damage we have caused compared to a monetary value. September 3, 201213 yr Lol dont know how many engines i replaced due to engine fire  I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
