Well, I don't drink but sure, why not, y'all can come round and we'll shoot some approaches... Paro if CoolP is up for it... :P

And yeh, that's totally my garage, I rent it out to the company for a bitta extra cash you know, and really handy when I'm on my sim training as it's only 30 seconds from dragging myself outta bed to sitting in the LHS, and thanks to our casual dress code for sim sessions, I don't even have to get out of my PJs....Slippers, dressing gown and a cuppa breakfast tea, no better way to do a V1 cut... :P

Regards,

That was almost blasphemous. You were lucky to get away with that one. Talking%20Ear%20Off.gif

While it's simplistic in concept, it entails deeper thoughts than "just move along". People have an emotional attachment to their favorite game. When something comes along that they believe threatens their belief in their favorite game, they strike out at it.

Thus the XPers and FSXers and FS9ers pooh-poohed MS Flight. Thus the XP and FS crowd go and comment about P3D. Thus there is still sniping between the XP group and FS group. It's human nature. Petty IMO, but still a prevalent thought process in today's world.

Now let's debate 737s, shall we?

This first reply nailed it. At the end it comes to community and something we are accustomed: we are safe with what we are and do, even if it is uncomplete or inadequate.

I have my reasons to stick with MS/LM related products and NOT the least is that I've put some $1000-$1500 to addons during last year. So, X-plane should be fricking good to get my full attention and money. That doesn't mean that I hate it or that I don't follow what is going on with X-plane and I have the demo installed always. It is just a fact that FSX compatibility is an importance to me especially as competitor can't offer an option in subjects that are important to me. That's it.

Lucky for me I live all the way down here in 'Middle-Earth'

Haha, in reality, probably one of the furthest things from hell.... ^_^

Rónán, check the maps again, if Matthew walks into Mordor (expect some Internet meme here), he is actually a bit closer to hell than other folks are. :O

So, Matthew, keep out of there, ok? They don't simulate things, they just do it. There was a rather lengthy documentation about it in three parts.
