June 29, 200421 yr Hi everyone.Just wondered if anyone tried the survey for flight simulator advertised on the home page at AVSIM. I did but the server would not give me access as it said I needed ID. Yet the page states no ID required.Typical Microsoft. They want our opinions but don't set up the server to let us give them. June 29, 200421 yr ....I also emailed them to report the errors, but the mail got bounced back saying that the server couldn't find that address!I wonder if someone's playing some sort of prank on Avsim?Toni.
June 29, 200421 yr LOL, I dont think anybody is... But maybe it was just a bad joke. Maybe they dont care a sh*t of European people opinions!! :D:D

June 29, 200421 yr There was a link to another MS survey from the site of an austrian/german FS-site a couple of days ago. The matter of this survey was "What do you wish to have included into FS2006". They did not ask for an ID for that one, but it did not work for me either. I also suspect there is somebody playing jokes.AlsoWolfgang

June 29, 200421 yr I experienced the same impossibility to enter the survey. It's either the work of a complete fool, or a VERY clever prankster. I think I'll fire up the good old virus scan.Be well!Jaap Verduijn.
June 29, 200421 yr Moderator I attended a Flight Sim show on 19 June in Blackpool, England and Microsoft were handing out cards inviting enthusiasts to complete the online survey. I was able to access it then and I can still access it today from the AvSim link.Unfortunately I have no idea why I can access it and you chaps can't - sorry. BUT, the AvSim link is a valid one. It IS a valid survey and yes, Microsoft DO CARE about European simmers Georg.Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). June 29, 200421 yr Moderator Eric,I see you're based in Florida which excludes you from the survey. Maybe the software checks Regional Settings to check for valid users? It won't allow you to complete it a second time either - perhaps they place a cookie in your system?Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England).
