October 24, 201213 yr Thanks for clarifying. They are both worth a try.... Plan-G* is free for use. (FS 2004 and FSX) FSTramp (FSX) is free and fully functional for 20 sessions, thereafter requires payment and registration to achieve full functionality. Highly recommended. Paul...FS 2004. * Suggest searching the Plan-G Forum for the earlier 2.0.5 version. (It contains the full Google Satellite Maps).

For FSX (which is off topic as the OP specified FS9 utilities) I won't bother with FS Tramp as it can only run in windowed mode according to the web-site. And I don't like windowed mode in any form of FS. Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
October 24, 201213 yr Apart from all the other suggestions by fellow sim fans. Some of my essential addons (and a few offs) are.... 1. BEER (either after or indeed before the sun is above the yard arm)or TEA (Coffee=U.S.) for the sensible times. 2.Comfy chair. 3.Radio Four (If Brit and of course like myself an intellectual) if not and a yoot then any suitable beat combo station...Groovy!will suffice ,if you are a yoot with an intellectual bent then JAZZ FM (UK) Miles Davis et al COOL! DODGY ADDON ALERT! 4.No wives allowed 5.Definitely no kids 6.Girlfriends a grey area, however its extremely unlikely they will be sim fans ,so on balance should be banned. MOST EXCELLENT ADDON ALERT! 7. Finally FS9 number one Addon! especially if you like to bash the ILS with jettery.... FSNavigator its the Dogs Banana's . Hoorah! A.
October 24, 201213 yr Another one of my favourites... ...! Whether it can be classed as a Utility, or a Scenery Enhancer, I don't know, but its always worth a mention, as it is free, and often unknown, for we FS 2004 users.... :Big Grin: ...! VOZ 1.8 http://aussiex.org/f...oz-18-complete/! Works wonders for seasonal variations and colours down below (all over the World), and also includes the gorgeous "Koorbygen" buildings, replacing the rather dull default buildings! There you go....give it a try! Paul...FS 2004, FS Nav, and FSX... :Bug: ...!
October 24, 201213 yr "FS Scenery Manager" in the lib - makes managing your scenery.cfg file - oh so painless... Greatest thing since sliced bread - really... Regards, Scott
