Best Fs2004 Utilities

Featured Replies

Ok i really love FS2004 and frankly i prefer it over FSX, Dont get me wrong i think FSX has its advantages over FS9, But lets face it, Performance wise FSX is just to much unless you have a really good PC. Yes I can get FSX to run well on my PC, But i really don't want to go through all those tweaks and texture conversions ect ect....

Being that i love FS9 So much Id really hate to face the reality in knowing that soon it will probably become a thing of the past, but also seeing that so many people are still playing it (and I haven't seen any other simulation that comes closer to reality With the exception of FSX) I'm hoping we can keep FS9 around. Specially for those who can t afford a Powerful PC To run FSX as well as FS9 with all the addons and reality meshes and scenery and all ts glory as you can in FS9.

Here is a website that will lead to some more useful utilities http://www.airseatac...urces.tools.php

So i've decided to make this thread to focus on FS9 utilities to help others find some nifty utilities that will enhance there simulation experience.

Here ill list some of my own, i wont list them all because i think i have pretty much all i can get Lol

I know there are other threads that may focus on this topic but they are well over a few years old and hard to browse for them so i would like to update this thread to the present. Specifically for those who are just doing a fresh install of FS9 and cant remember most of utilities out there for FS9 that are still functional and backwards compatible with FS9 (That works with FSX & FS9) B)

Purpose of this Post for others to share there personal Utilities that enhances FS9 gameplay expirience

FSTramp is for FSX users, unfortunate enough not to have enjoyed the luxuries of owning FS Navigator!

Programmed by the same Chap...Helge Schroder.

FS Nav is the main reason why I have stuck to FS 2000, FS 2002, and FS 2004 from the beginning...Without it, I would have gone elsewhere, long ago!

A similar program:..."Plan-G*" will suit both FS 2004 and FSX users

FS Navigator and Plan-G for my FS 2004.....FSTramp and Plan-G for my FSX

Does the same job, in both cases.

Paul.

Thanks for clarifying.
