Lol. Caught. That was indeed one reason for making him shorter...

However, he is still a relative 5' 7" tall.

I will not be buying this bird until the pilot is rendered as 5'9" and actually does duck when the canopy opens/closes.

Seriously, plane looks awesome, especially the VC. Congrats!

Congrats indeed, it looks mouthwateringly awesome. Has taken first place in my 'to purchase' queue.

Milviz Person.

i just purchased this jet. Its typical of what I'd expect from Milviz. The details on it is amazing. You have to be gentle with control inputs though. My sphincter puckered many a time when I was too aggressive with pitch, leading to spins at low altitude.

Excellent graphics. Excellent flight model. Excellent systems modelling. Glad I spent the money! Here's hoping the promised TacPack support comes soon!

Cheers,

Noel.

Weight: 125.4lbs

Shoe size: 9 (European i think. Not sure what it equates to in the US)

It was modeled after me since i spent most of the time in the pit making all the switches work and stuff....

How does this plane compare to the excellent Milviz T-38a, especially in regards to the FDE

The same person (Bernt) did both FDE's, so... B)

In a nutshell, it feels like it flies exactly as described in the numerous pilot and test-pilot reports, extensive flight test data, and the manual; so you'll feel like you're really flying a hard-wing Sabre. It provides very credible suspension of disbelief, with a seamless flight experience from takeoff to landing. As good as the T-38 is, IMO this Sabre is Bernt's best work, and the best as well from the rest of the Milviz team. As a simulated jet I think the Sabre lends itself very well to the flight sim environment - it lands not much above a hundred knots, and easily gets to speeds almost as high as a century series jet without afterburner. It's powerful, sensitive and precise hydraulic flight controls are a joy to operate, and the custom coded trim system, hydraulics, and flyable tail add greatly to the experience. It's a joy to fly and behold, one of the best FSX experiences to be had I think.
