November 15, 201213 yr Combine the J41, AS2012 and grand tour of New Zealand with FTX NZSI & NZNI (and possibly with G-plan) and you will have an adventure that will challange and exhaust you. The charts are in the public domain here: http://www.aip.net.nz/ and you can buy maps and enroute stuff here: http://secureorders.airways.co.nz/index.asp Paul Smith.
November 15, 201213 yr I went on a UK tour recently, hopping around all the minor airports, typical leg length of about 180-210 nm, it's well suited to that kind of work. I suspect New Zealand is likely to be prettier though! Not every country considers 16,000 as in the "flight levels". It depends on transition altitude. I know this is off on a tangent but I think the main point of this thread has been answered quite throughly, so.... Perhaps you'd be so kind as to tell the sim pilots, as a controller I get fed up of telling people to climb FL100 or descend FL70 and have them (mainly American pilots, if I'm honest) reading it back as an altitude! Reading back is not hard, a parrot can do it, a 4 year old can do it, but apparently not a flight sim pilot! </rant> ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.

Not my problem or your problem if they can't get it right. This thread really isn't the place for this discussion, I expect your rant might do more good in the General Forum or in an online flying forum... Back to the OP, let us know how you like it! November 16, 201213 yr Today first attempts.........now im in the process of printing the docs to start reading the manuals Cheers Nice shots! They are definitely allowed, but there is a size limit for the pictures, but yours I think are small enough! Have fun, and try not to toast the engines too many times...... Regards,Kyle
November 16, 201213 yr You need to arm the spoilers before takeoff and landing using the toggle on the glareshield  ckyliu, proud supporter of ViaIntercity.com. i5 12400F, 32GB, RTX4070, more in "About me" on my profile.
November 20, 201213 yr Nice shots! They are definitely allowed, but there is a size limit for the pictures, but yours I think are small enough! Have fun, and try not to toast the engines too many times...... IIRC they are allowed if they illustrate what the support request is about. Anything else should really go in the screenshots forum.
