Wow, terribly sorry to hear of this. Don't blame yourself, just focus on your health and getting better. You were very smart by going back to the hospital.

Sincerely,

Chase

You'll be fine Jamalje, I'll say a prayer for you too.

Get better soon man, may the Force be with you.

Hey Jamalje,

I was just reading up on ARF and its causes on WebMD. The article stated that there are three main causes for acute renal failure, one of them being "Damage from medicines"--BUT-- what it says is..."But people who have serious long term health problems are more likely than other people to have a kidney problem from medicines." So, as others before have said, your double dose most likely is NOT the cause of your illness. It's probably more coincidence, your body was already dealing with the migranes and when you're fighting one ailment your defence system is weakened and other things can crop up. Don't be blaming yourself, take it easy and get better real soon. You know the good folks here are rooting for you.

Please let me add my fervent wishes for a speedy recovery! I'm in accord with the opinions expressed above that there is more going on here than meets the eye. We all could have made the very same mistake you did with your medication. Don't dwell on that - - think about focusing your energy on getting better! Remember, there but for the grace of God go a bunch of us!

John
