Get well soon mate!

Rest easy and you're in our thoughts and prayers Jamalje. Here's to a speedy recovery and may this be a distant memory in the years to come.

Jamalje,

I sympathize and my prayers are with you. I've been sick with what feels like a bad cold coming upon 3 years this coming Jan. Was that Doc you saw a general practitioner or ent? Did they suggest a cat scan of your sinuses? Did they suggest nasal lavage? If this doesn't get better soon I suggest an ENT doc if your not already seeing one. Ive been prescribed Cipro quite a few times in the past, and several times the doc had me take 2 doses at once in the beginning of the course, so it seems odd that taking the double dose you did caused acute renal failure, are you on any other meds like SSRI's? Im not a doc, but when you been as sick as me so long you pick up quite a bit researching. Your welcome to pm me if this doesn't get better and you feel your doc is spinning his wheels, been there done that, and have had my share of sinus issues

Hello all, thank you so much for the words of encouragement and the well wishes, they are really appreciated.

Chris

This doctor I went to was a GP, the cost of having a CAT scan here in my island is far too high, and personally I don't want to overburden my mother who is doing her best right now, I was not on any other prescribed drugs at the time of the ciproxin issue, nor am I now edit: besides Gravol, prednisone for pericarditis, some others but for other reasons thanks for your well wishes. Also, I hope you get better with that cold, speedy recovery.

Not that any of that matters now as I'm now glued to a hospital bed no much wider than my body.

As for the Cat scan, I'm hoping to have one arranged in America

Hang in Hombre!!!! you and your family are in my prays as you deal with this. Put all your trust and faith in God, he does not give us more than we can bear, although at times it seems like it. Are you in SKB or did you come up to the US?

Hi Simeon, thanks for your well wishes, I'm currently still in SKB, however I'm thinking that they will have to fly us out sooner or later. I'm hoping sooner, because recently I heard that one of the Docs at the hospital diagnosed someone with a cancerous growth on their arm, and arranged to amputate it, but on further analysis in the US, discovered the latter wasn't necessary, nor was the growth cancerous. It's a wonder they got the diagnosis correct in my case.

As far as the future of this treatment goes I've no idea.

I laid here for the last 24 hours listening to the lady next to me moan. I woke up this morning to them wheeling her out with her daughter, or close relative sobbing, she died this morning. They didn't even attend to her while she was in agony, no one deserves to die that way, surrounded by 'trained' staff. These past weeks have proven quite terrible for me, I never thought that death could actually be a solution to anything, until you realized how much pain, discomfort and emotional heartache the human body may endure. I however must stay grateful, imagine how much folks have kept such a positive attitude while fighting the worst of diseases, and I therefore believe that I can too.

Please take care of yourselves guys, keep kicking, and do enjoy your sim releases, keep gazing skywards.

Whoa, that's pretty serious. Best of luck, I hope you get better soon.

Take care

Thanks,

Kevin L

J,

You fight and endure all that you have to. You have too much to offer this world to do anything less. There are many rewards left on this earth before you get your eternal reward in heaven. My family is praying for your family.

Hi Jamalje

My suggestion (if I may) : there are times when cost is not the most important issue. Health is (sorry if I sound patronizing...)

Good

I have had almost the same experience and it is awful (I was waking up in intensive care...).

Take care and hang on.

Get well soon!

Haha, nice one Jesse

For today, I'm feeling a bit better, just having issues holding down food, but other than that, I'm feeling really well, thanks guys!

Even old Maddog received that ACARS message. See? It works.

I'm sure some more planes received it too. Why not post a few pictures? :Peace: Nice trend set by Jesse.
