Great shots, I wish I could use OPUS and enjoy the real looking bad weather, but I fly the NGX and need accurate winds so that I don't waste expensive fuel. :mellow:

Nice! What sky texture are you using? I was flying in England yesterday and had some very dark grey clouds: the sky above it (not Hawaii blue but still really blue) didn't fit at ALL! Seems I will have to switch sky textures after using the same one for ages...

The REXE+OD set what I set up for ENG winter. Like you say England does not have Hawaii sky.

 

NOTE: I only use REXE+OD clouds set at 1024 within Options

Thanks for the detailed info, but, bummer, I don't have any of those textures. I don't have OD and don't feel like downloading 9,9 Gb of stuff I won't use...Pity you can't select the stuff you want online and only download that! ^_^ Well, maybe I will download all that stuff one day when I've got nothing better to do...

Ah, what the heck... it's free so I am downloading REXE+ from FSS now. Maybe OD will follow later... ^_^

I don't use ENB but I do use Shade, using default set and set for all days. Cheap and wonderful.

Wow, nice! Some lovely textures there: fun thing is that those sky colors match 99% to what I am seeing out of my window right now (in the Netherlands)! Maybe I should download OD after all... ^_^ I already got REXE+ downloaded so I might as well get OD too... Those textures do look good!

 

Looking forward to your spring/summer set! I often fly in other seasons then the current one, so if you already have a spring/summer set lying around, I wouldn't mind if you posted it already! ^_^ Just as it sometimes is refreshing to fly in (FSX) hard winter during (real time) summer, it may be nice to fly in (FSX) summer during (real time) winter...

Slightly OT but I won't be able to give your suggestions a try: I downloaded OD 5 (!!!) times on two different computers and every zip was corrupted in one way or the other. I am done with OD. I will see if I can find default REXE+ textures that are close to your suggestions.

I use win rar but if I have what you say I use win7 its slower but x1000 better when others fail.

I fly the NGX give me that weather over a few pounds of fuel any-day. I only fly 100-200 mile max flights so I don't care about the extra cost of fuel. Give me OPUS weather any-day.
