Orbx ENG, A complete waste of time!

Featured Replies

Day off so thought it would be nice to get back to Devon where I left of yesterday.

A complete waste of time today when using real weather as I always do.

If you don't live in the UK...well this is what it really looks like...a lot.

Enjoy!

LOL!!

Just a grey ground texture will do for UK in FSX.. hahah

Slightly misleading topic title! Great shots though, is that Opus?

It looks great! But you're right, you don't get to see too much of the ground textures.

Great shots!

That's what you get for using Opus-complete and utter realism!

Great shots, I wish I could use OPUS and enjoy the real looking bad weather, but I fly the NGX and need accurate winds so that I don't waste expensive fuel.

I fly the NGX give me that weather over a few pounds of fuel any-day. I only fly 100-200 mile max flights so I don't care about the extra cost of fuel. Give me OPUS weather any-day.

+1

OPUS is the Weather Engine equivalent of what the NGX is to aircraft. One off 'set', then 'forget'......... just lovely, real, dynamic weather, wherever you are, as in David's pics.

Nice pix, but I agree ... the subject header was rather misleading. I'm glad, though, that it didn't go in the direction I thought it would! :smile2:

Nice pix, but I agree ... the subject header was rather misleading.

I think that was his whole point.

I liked it.
