DX10 Compatibility Chart

Featured Replies

Hi,

With the ongoing discussion of FSX DX10 addon compatibility, I decided to make a chart to keep everyone informed and to organize the process.

The chart can be found HERE.

Please post below to help me keep it updated but please be sure to check the chart before posting so we don't have double posts!

Cheers Ben can see it properly now =D. Hopefully Aerosoft will fix their sceneries oneday so I can try DX10 again.

I have FSDT KORD and at night you get some lights that look like little cardboard cards so I would say not fully compatable.

FSDT KDFW both day and night are compatiable.

Ben,

Did you try the scenery you have posted as compatoble ?

I have had contact with Tropical sim and they say that they did not make scenery to be compatible with DX10.

If they work that would be nice.

In my post you will see scenery that I have tested myself or where the developer claims that they are compatible.

Imho it was not needed to make this post as I made one about 100% working scenery , both day and night.

My experience with KHQM at DX10 is a bit different. Running the DX10 mode at KHQM makes the runway look like a grass texture. Have a look at the screen shot. In DX9 the runway is fine.

Thanks

Try updating PNW and KHQM. It works perfectly in DX10 here. I did have an issue, but it was solved with an update of OrbX PNW or the object library.

Mark

Hi Mark,

already updated PNW, KHQM and latest ORBX Library. That didn't change anything.

Thanks

Spirit

That looks like default runway bleeding through.

Hi Paul,

it's only in DX10, with DX9 it's fine. I'm still searching where to look or what file it may be. I don't have this effect on other airports.

Thanks

Spirit

I think you have ticked Land Detail Textures in your Dx10 Display\Scenery settings

and not in your Dx9 settings.

Regards,

Nick.
