January 2, 201313 yr yep. pretty much what this thread is all about. lol This is the FS2004 forum. I heard every word of that! I have just enough room in my garage for it. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
January 6, 201313 yr They put up a few more screenshots.. http://www.carenado.com/CarSite/Portal/index.php Then click on Incomings projects then the Baron info. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
January 6, 201313 yr Author See those high-poly switches in the VC... Yum. Carenado obviously knew they were going to do a few Beechcraft planes; the pilot's opening hatch hinge is a thing of beauty, and must've taken many hours to produce.
January 7, 201313 yr Wow! Those screenshots are fantastic. Carenado has produced a piece of art with this Baron. If it flys as well as it looks, there will won't be a better Baron 58 for FS9 available. IMHO of course. Really looking forward to adding this aircraft to the hangar. Jim L

January 8, 201313 yr That is true. Now I have to check all the switches .. like panel light switch turns on landing lights? After a few days of test flights I will see about RealityXp Garmins. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
January 9, 201313 yr Author panel light switch turns on landing lights Yes I think the Bonanza had similar light switch issues, never fixed. The installed GPS looks pretty convincing (Once I figure out where the map page is). What's the advantage of RealityXP over these?
January 9, 201313 yr "The installed GPS looks pretty convincing (Once I figure out where the map page is). What's the advantage of RealityXP over these?" I just did a quick check ... to follow a plan .. never got the the "map and pages" yet. Turns out I had to read the manual for specific "click" spots. The RealityXp Garmins are the real deal. "Yes I think the Bonanza had similar light switch issues, never fixed." The fs9.1 default Baron has independent Panel, Taxi, and landing lights. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
January 9, 201313 yr That is true. Now I have to check all the switches .. like panel light switch turns on landing lights? After a few days of test flights I will see about RealityXp Garmins. I am amazed after all this time the panel light switch is still linked to the landing lights. My FS Videos
January 14, 201313 yr Just to verify. After turning on the battery switch. If I then turn on any one ... strobe or beacon or NAV will turn on the panel lights at nighttime. Is this what others are seeing? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
January 14, 201313 yr Author Boy, AVSIM sure picked the moment to "fix" their forum software without a current backup, eh? Ed I wonder if you could re-post your fix, as I pointed Carenado at it. VM, that's my understanding of what Ed did: de-couple the landing light only from the panel.
January 15, 201313 yr Just to verify. After turning on the battery switch. If I then turn on any one ... strobe or beacon or NAV will turn on the panel lights at nighttime. Is this what others are seeing? Yes any light switch will turn on the instrument/panel lighting on at night. But now the Landing/taxi lights are separate....that is all I have done and can do.... I cannot edit their model (it is a work around) Here is the link again: http://www.mediafire.com/?uu1j1cp6ssixj09 My FS Videos
