December 29, 201213 yr I am not sure what I have done today but when I click on the Heads Up Display it come down as normal but I am only seeing part of the information contained within the display. Very difficult to explain but I am wondering whether anyone has experienced the same issue. MIchael Michael Broom
December 29, 201213 yr Move your view point around (I have forgotten default keys), your view probably got moved by FSX's built in momentum effect. Because the HUD is collimated changes in your viewpoint can make a big difference. Jay Vorkapic

December 29, 201213 yr OP, it's a Head Up Display. How many pilots have more than one head to look up with? A heads up is something entirely different.

December 29, 201213 yr Author Still cannot seem to resolve this isssue. I am in my same position in respect of the Captain's seat as usual but for some reason I have to pan out towards the edge of the flight deck to see the Heads Up Display properly which obviously is not right. The size of the display seems to be too large from my normal position and therefore I cannot see all the information from the display. I cannot think what I have done wrong or what the solution could be. Further help would be appreciated. Michael Broom
December 30, 201213 yr Did you try moving your eyepoint back? Sorry if I am misunderstanding and you did. Maybe ill post a screen shot of where I am in the cockpit to see the HUD
December 30, 201213 yr This happens to me but I'm using track ir so if I move in my seat my eye point moves. All it takes is re-centering my eye point.
December 30, 201213 yr Author HI and thanks for your reply again. I am using EZ Dok but it would be useful if you could post a screen shot to show where you are in the cockpit-I am not totally sure how to move my eyepoint back. Many thanks. Michael Broom
December 30, 201213 yr Commercial Member CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER/BACKPACE CTRL+ENTER/BACKSPACE SHIFT+ENTER/BACKSPACE Use those combinations to move yourself around on the 3 axes. Safe to say, your eyepoint has been moved and it's not in the right spot. Pan your view down so you'd be looking at your crotch. If the notch in the seat isn't in the middle of your display, you're too far to the left or right. Kyle Rodgers
December 30, 201213 yr I am using EZ Dok In AoA config for the NGX, there is a view specifically made for HUD. Just use that --Peter Fabian
December 31, 201213 yr Author Please note that the issue has been resolved and I now have my eyepoint back in the correct position. I had to adjust an Ezdok setting to resolve. Many thanks for your help and advice. Michael Michael Broom
