And yes, there a some things which are simulated at a medium complexity and most of the major ones at a high-end simulation.

I would consider managed VNAV a major system but maybe that's just me

I'd say that LNAV might be also nudging a major system! Maybe not...

That fails categorically when flying with oceanic waypoints! But I'm also picky picky!

Do they pay you some sort of commission to advertise the AXE?

Look, as it was said it's a mid range product which is not finished.

When pmdg released the NGX, they fixed the existing bugs with a couple service packs ending with the c version and that was it... great, reliable, good looking, stable product! And when I say pmdg, there are also some others developers that really do really good jobs!

The AXE is v1.04 with several hotfixes and it still doesn't cut the edge even for a medium product...

You just have to see the latest topic about the next major update that was written today in the aerosoft general forum.

I uninstalled it...

Great to know that there are BBS and FSL working on their Airbuses!

Drop the mask Johnny, we all know you're just a real REAL big fan of AS and fail miserably to admit the plane has flaws. If you knew about anything resembling flying an aircraft, you would have smelled it from a distance. You obviously failed. It's not because the Airbus is different from a GA or a Boeing or a Cessna Citation X, it's because it HAS FLAWS that it can't fly. It's not a pilot problem, wakey wakey.

At least i know what's wrong with it and reported the problems which are being addressed (as in they DO exist) by Aerosoft. I now wait patiently for them to fix it because i want it to suceed, not fail.

kids these days -_-

You seem to use the word WE a lot when talking about Aerosoft. combine that and your "enthusiasm" for the product and that is why it seems plausible that you work for Aerosoft. Just seems to raise some red flags.

We= All of us who love to fly this wonderful aircraft

Aerosoft= I don't know more about them other than that they develop awesome a/c and scenery. I wish I was affiliated with a large developer like this, but I'm not... Sorry :(

OMG

It' s truly breath taking.

But then again when have we seen someone quote themselves and then replying to themselves before?

A legend is born. With every reply the legend grows, I see we now have a new colour highlight, red instead of the normal blue.

Does the BBS flare on autoland? Can i import plans from FSBuild?

I believe it dos flare on auto land although have not used that much to be honest... to import flight plans the only way i found was to use VRoute as it can save in the .pss format which the bus uses...fsbuild does??

Does the BBS support SIDS/STARS, flight plan import from FSBuild, full autoland with flare and pop-out glass panels? I'm thinking of getting this instead of the Wilco or Aerosoft one.

I fly BBS one and can confirm you that it does support SIDS/STARS and it flies quite nicely (airport I flew out like VVTS, WSSS...). E.g, It draws my AC1C SID from my airport VVTS quite nicely with the curve and follows nicely. Not sure about flight plan import cos I did not try that. It has full autoland with FLARE and ROLL OUT mode (I did land once or twice with full autoland as I prefer manual landing) and again quite nicely. It has pop-out PFD and ND if that what you mean. May be you can go through their support forum and facebook page to see what are available and what are coming in the future updates...

PS: I dont own Aerosoft Airbus X Xtended so by writing this I did not imply any bashing Aerosoft what so ever.

Your location is UK? I am a bit surprised at your surprise. I was actually educated in countries and universities with a British academic system (which I love). And, we were tuaght to be very emphatic and eloquent when expressing ourselves in both writing and talking. So, a huge part of Grammar dealt with writing using, bold, capital letters, underlining, using different colors (or colours). So, not sure why this makes you nervous or unsecured? Don't know why! I can assure you that a person with strong motivations is almost imposable to be weakened.

Educated! Was not a word that came to mine when you quoted yourself and then replied to yourself. Read back over the last pagers to see others thoughts on that.

Keep it coming Johnny it's priceless

I think they would pay him to stop posting!
