BBS airbus Ver1

Aerosoft isn't reluctant to commit to an A319, they're doing it and the A318 as well. Also, a 330 is planned *maybe* still this year.

I'm sorry, but 'maybe', particularly in relation to Aerosoft doesn't wash with me. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fairly good customer of theirs, but waiting THREE years for a CRJ or TWO years for Salzburg is a little frustrating, even with the Airbus X the original timescale was a lot different from the actual timescale. I do know about development problems and unexpected delays but the wait for the CRJ is ridiculous, and Salzburg is nearly as bad with wafer thin excuses. Personally I don't expect to see either of these this year and I am not going to hold my breath for the A319 and A330.

I do like most of the Aerosoft. software I have, but I am also a realist.

cheers,

John Hansen

If you want a bus now then the aerosoft one is the best looking. It's not targeted at the PMDG level and it's not, by a long way. What it does is look great and if you fly it as an upgrade from the default you might not see the faults. It's nice eye candy aircraft. But have a good look at there forums before you buy it to see if it's for you.

I didn't say i believe them, look at the A320... That's what's planned and i know about the CRJ, it'll end up like the DA Fokker most surely. I have no idea why they never finished that with the VC, such an extraordinary aircraft.

As for Aerosoft, i think they're losing momentum. Germany VFR was a total failure and the wait for new products is, like you say, ridiculous in some cases. Also their new protection system caused me more troubles than the guys who eventually pirate their stuff and enjoy hassle-free scenery :(

I still believe they'll fix it to the point it will be very much enjoyable and trustable. We'll see...

Now that you say this, I will say this, Its awesome to see a troll come here accusing me of insulting people and laugh by himself.

well the response from the Aerosoft developer sums up the thoughts of the company regarding their customers and product ,stop moaning you are getting what you paid for ! basically telling anybody that If you don't like it to sod off ,why come here to attack you customers it seems to me to be the norm for some FSX product developers ,It seems like our expectation of this airbus add on is way to high and in reality it is only meant to be light weight, question with this type of aircraft the Airbus are (fly by wire computer driven etc ),how can it be anything other than complex? can it be light weight and successful if you understand what I mean ,so why try to make another light version ,to the developer if you cant stand the heat etc ,great expectation all ways come from the people making the product and simply not being clear /honest from day one about what they can/are able to /want to deliver ,with an attitude like his no wonder its taking so long to sort their issues out ,who,s bothered? seems not the bloke who posted here ,But as I could always have misread the situation ,sorry if i have

AND I only wanted to know about the final price of the final version of BBS Version 1

I still believe they'll fix it to the point it will be very much enjoyable and trustable. We'll see...

Yes I agree but why did they release it, it was so wrong and how many "hotfix's" has it had. the likes of PMDG will normaly have a SP1(SP2 was an addon) for the odd bug that got though, but it was so bad in version 1. No idea how version 1.4 is but I've walked away waiting for FSLabs version. The odd bug is understandable but it was shamefull to release it in that state. Also that was after massive delays to make sure it was right on release. WoW.

I wish Aerosoft all the best with it and I'am sure many will enjoy it and do.

For those who are experiencing big problems with bugs, bear with us, we are almost working 7 days a week to solve the bugs. Things are getting sorted slowly

The post by Joshua C sums up why I walked away from Aerosoft Bus. IMHO the programmers are way out of there depth, hence the line above. This should have never been released as Joshua acknowledges it's still a long way off doing as it says on the tin. That has nothing to do with "depth" just doing what it was advertised to do.

That's exactly the right attitude for any developer. Customers shouldn't expect more than what was promised, and I think it was clear that Aerosoft Airbus Extended would never be as full and complex simulation as for example FSLabs A320 will be. And multiple updates & bugfixes after initial release are just regular stuff in development of such a complex addons.

uestion with this type of aircraft the Airbus are (fly by wire computer driven etc ),how can it be anything other than complex?

Easily. For example Qualitywings, Captain Sim, CLS and Just Flight have sold a bit simplified versions of commercial jetliners for years totally successfully.

Do you want a shovel to keep digging? Poor sod... go play with your computer and keep being badass thru your monitor... I bet you got some threads to delete at aerosoft! ;-)

Tell us how you know that?

This will be my only comment about this in this thread. I will not comment further here.

@wizzards:

Hope you have a look a my post among the arguments :D. You may want to email them to clarify or post in their facebook page...

I own BBS v0.61 and I m happy with that (flew them mostly with the VNAV (or more precisely the managed climb/descend), doing ILS, LOC, manual landing...) Though it still has some bugs here and there and more features coming in coming updates, but I have to say that I really enjoy the bus as it is now.

Aerosoft Bus Xtended is a really nice looking aircraft. When I flew it twice in my friend's comp (version 1.02 I remember) it left me with mix feeling 1) good implementation flight envelope protection 2) not so great LNAV (lost during my SID). I did not check their managed climb/descend at the time though. If they have this LNAV and managed climb/descend (if it indeed has issues) issues sorted out then I think it is a good addon for its price and its aim (mid-simulation)....
