You guys might consider calming down and cut back on the drama lest you get accused of being AVSIM moderators! Not owning either one (yet), I see two different, but great looking aircraft.

Kind regards,

I see two different, but great looking aircraft.

Took the words right out of my mouth! And when the third bus turns up.......

I also see two great looking aircraft. I own both. One is beta the other is "officially released".

The beta plane is actually flyable to me. The officially released plane is parked for the time being due to bugs needing to be resolved.

gimme a bloody break..

5 images of BBS and 2 (!) images of AXE (seriously? with the angle in the second AXE image>>). Glad you are not a reviewer. (Are you?)

Btw, nice screenshots, my final comment is: 5 BBS GOLDSTAR

Does the BBS support SIDS/STARS, flight plan import from FSBuild, full autoland with flare and pop-out glass panels? I'm thinking of getting this instead of the Wilco or Aerosoft one.

These Airbus Conversations have sadly become a tug-a-war

I must inform you that Aerosoft's Airbus 320 is far from simple, light, or next to the default Airbus. There are thousands of members on these forums, and you can pretty much tell of those who are respected by the aviation community and those who simply "resembles negativity with every word they say." There are specifically 3 members on this forum who have dedicated their time to say only negative things about almost every developer's product- especially the Airbus Extended.

Yes, we may have differences and yes we me like (or not) a certain product. But, to say-in every conversation-, that a product has nothing good but bad is unacceptable. I have tremendously enjoyed products from Payware Developers: PSS Boeing 777, Airbus Series, and Concorde; Level D 767; Wilco A-340, VRS; I-Fly; Aerosoft, PMDG, Captain Sim, and FSL...None are perfect! But, they all have wonderful products- some with older developing techniques; some with newer techniques. With time, despite products not being perfect, I have learned to appreciate the work these developers have done, and I thank them in great manner. Aerosoft, as well as Level D, PMDG, and VRS, had challenges in developing and delivering their products. However, after all the years in development, and updates, I applaud them all for such wonderful products. I am now enjoying these to the top of my flying experience. (Anything better, would mean calling Boeing and Airbus, and taking several millions of dollars on my visit to them- not $50.00- $90.00)

We understand that no product is perfect. However this sentence is ridiculous. Airbus Extended should not be in the same sentence as PMDG, Level D, and VRS. The complexity of those products is at a different level. It is also unfair to Aerosoft, as they are not trying to simulate their products in this depth. Its great that you love flying it. But stop trying to make it into something that its not trying to be.

I am sorry to hear you feel this way. However, there's a large number of us who appreciate and enjoy the JoB Aerosoft has done with their Aibus 320. We invite you to apply the recent updates, and if you need Help, please visit their support forums and you will be helped... It's a wonderful product both in graphics and in systems- THANK YOU, AEROSOFT FOR A JOB WELL DONE !

I'm not talking about the job Aerosoft did. I'm saying stop talking like they are in the same complexity level as PMDG, Level D. etc. Like i said I am NOT saying its a bad product. Just that its a MEDIUM level of systems simulation (exactly as it was designed).

Does the BBS flare on autoland? Can i import plans from FSBuild?

And yes, there a some things which are simulated at a medium complexity and most of the major ones at a high-end simulation.

I don't own the BBS Airbus; however, I did own the original PSS Airbus Professional Series...Speaking about a product that came out almost 10 years ago and with a great job on "auto-land- and flare. I want to guess (and assume), today in 2013, they have incorporated the "Auto-Land and Flare" capabilities. As to FSBuild I don't know.

--- I will gladly go back to BBS (former PSS), if they were to bring out the big guys again- the Aibus 330-300, 340-300, and A-340-600...At this age, this would be the ultimate for me in flight simulation; to see the Big Busses simulated. (We have enough baby buses)

I was just trying to show the differences specifically regarding the PFD,ND, & EICAM. I do strongly feel that those should be correctly modeled IMHO. No I'm not an reviewer. Feel free to post some images of your own...those where found on internet only, they are not mine screenshots.

Kind regards

Do they pay you some sort of commission to advertise the AXE?

Look, as it was said it's a mid range product which is not finished.

When pmdg released the NGX, they fixed the existing bugs with a couple service packs ending with the c version and that was it... great, reliable, good looking, stable product! And when I say pmdg, there are also some others developers that really do really good jobs!

The AXE is v1.04 with several hotfixes and it still doesn't cut the edge even for a medium product...

You just have to see the latest topic about the next major update that was written today in the aerosoft general forum.

I uninstalled it...

Great to know that there are BBS and FSL working on their Airbuses!

Drop the mask Johnny, we all know you're just a real REAL big fan of AS and fail miserably to admit the plane has flaws. If you knew about anything resembling flying an aircraft, you would have smelled it from a distance. You obviously failed. It's not because the Airbus is different from a GA or a Boeing or a Cessna Citation X, it's because it HAS FLAWS that it can't fly. It's not a pilot problem, wakey wakey.

At least i know what's wrong with it and reported the problems which are being addressed (as in they DO exist) by Aerosoft. I now wait patiently for them to fix it because i want it to suceed, not fail.
