March 26, 201313 yr I have heard from their tech support, Mr. Kook (asked him to lend me his comb). Nothing definite. A lot of excuses. There is a driver out for the competition's MCP panel (GOFLIGHT MCP PRO) for X-Plane 10 which makes me a bit disturbed. You'd think VRI would be on top of this. I threw up a daytime video of the B777 in 64-bits in XPlane. It's a tutorial for new pilots using the aircraft, and not perfect, but it IS very long. I tried to cover quite a bit of territory beginning with the plane cold and dark. R. Scott McDonald B738/L Information is anecdotal only-without guarantee & user assumes all risks of use thereof. VNAV is your friend, As it was you busted the 3000 or below altitude restriction at SNO and the 250kt speed restriction below 10K. Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
March 27, 201313 yr Thanks for pointing that up to me. I appreciate it. I was mainly trying to demo the airplane and show the procedures to start from cold/dark... You're quite right. Tried to do too much in too short a time window. Thanks again! Yes, I noticed the speed bust and ratcheted it back down to 250 KIAS. R. March 27, 201313 yr I re-processed my video to High Definition 1080p to show X-Plane and the B777-200 in the sharpest possible picture. . It will be a while as YouTube compresses my film. RSM R. April 2, 201313 yr Thank you Mr McDonald for the VRInsight update. From my side they never answer to my question about the x-plane compatibility. Michel
June 3, 201313 yr I bought B777 worldliner from avsim store ....how to update it to 1.4.2 64bit. Tnx.
June 4, 201313 yr Addons like this 777 is making it harder and harder to fly FSX. I am watching XPX but, poor ATC, lack of AI jets or detailed ground structures at airports, are holding me back.
June 4, 201313 yr I am watching XPX but, poor ATC, lack of AI jets or detailed ground structures at airports, are holding me back. I use fsx but default buildings at Airports look like my dogs poop  XPX has payware(Aerosoft, Tropical Sim, TruScenery, etc. etc.) and amazing freeware, just look at all the other posts. Remember xpx is new, fsx has been out longer and abandoned by Microsoft. 3rd Party Devs are coming like PMDG and more. And let's not forget 32bit/64bit.
June 4, 201313 yr Waiting on the FSX PMDG 777, someone convince to instead get XPX North America and this 777. Cost will be about the same and I can only do FSX 777 or XPX/777 (and the extended wait for the PMDG T7 is wearing me down)...cheers.
June 4, 201313 yr I bought b777 worldliner from avsim store. How to update it to 1.4.2 64bit. Thanks Write an email to [email protected]. The same guy who owns it, also operated the store at Avsim. His name is Nicolas. He gives great support. I was in the same situation and he got me all of the updates for my 777 and listed it in my account at X-Plane.org. He'll help you out. And let's not forget 32bit/64bit. This is what's really keeping me in XPX64 along with a lot of, much improved, aircraft. I love 64bit. It makes all the difference in the world. I still enjoy FSX sometimes, but those sometimes are getting less and less. Robert Yunque
June 5, 201313 yr Waiting on the FSX PMDG 777, someone convince to instead get XPX North America and this 777. Cost will be about the same and I can only do FSX 777 or XPX/777 (and the extended wait for the PMDG T7 is wearing me down)...cheers. Well, I'm not the best guy to give you an hint... I've been moving forth and back, or, better said, back and forth... XP10 has FUTURE. We just have to give it time... FSX is stagnated, stopped, frozen, in as far as what interests me the most goes - flight dynamics and weather modelling + systems. Yes, much can be done externally, but also in X-Plane10... I was placing some expectations on P3D v2, but the more I read the more I find that in terms of FDM, it'll probably bring nothing new. This said, you can't really compare the complexity / detail of a PMDG 737 NGX, or the upcoming 777 with the Wordliner 777... But, it'll get there one day... Flight dynamics wise, and when it comes to the effects of ( bad ) weather, you can't get anything in FSX / P3D World to perform as good as in XP10! Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
June 5, 201313 yr I think I will awaiting the PMDG FSX T7 but from there will start transitioning to XPX, this Father's Day I will request the kids gimme XPX.
