February 16, 201313 yr Id love to get out of this terrible Toronto traffic, however, there is never enough space ahead of my vehicle to attain liftoff speed. I would have to spend the usual 1 hour to drive 20km to get to the airport to use the darn thing. Ron W
February 16, 201313 yr It reminds me of GM's concept in the 90's "The Lean Machine" It was an enclosed 3 wheeler like this, but had a proposed option for attached wings and a propeller to make it an airplane. Except for it being showcased at EPCOT and a cameo in the movie "Demolition Man", it never saw the light of day!! Thanks Tom My Youtube Videos! http://www.youtube.com/user/tf51d
February 16, 201313 yr Cool, pretty high tech. But does it have a bike rack? Where do I put my pet Great Dane? Simmo W, Melbourne, Ozhttp://www.youtube.com/user/id5556

February 17, 201313 yr Very cool. Although since it is only a 1pp vehicle it's not very practical. I don't think our airspace (such as that in Phoenix where I live) could handle a large number of these flying around as commuter vehicles. John
February 17, 201313 yr The problem with it being a gyrocopter is that it isn't much faster than traveling at freeway speeds. That is another problem with the Terrafugia because it is being made under the light sport rules and you can only cruise at about 100 knots. Chris Miller
