February 19, 201313 yr Ah, good. In that case, would it be possible to remove the limitation to post live links? Of course solely and strictly only links that are provided by a-net to link to images as this: a-net/photo/Saudia---Saudi/Fokker-F-28-3000-Fellowship/0669844/M/ --Peter Fabian
February 19, 201313 yr Yes, and I've found some good pictures of the 737 Honeywell MCP on there as well, gargantuan LED digits and all, thus neatly getting this thread back on topic.
February 19, 201313 yr Ah, good. In that case, would it be possible to remove the limitation to post live links? No, we are not going to do that. Please read our Terms of Service.
February 19, 201313 yr No, we are not going to do that. Please read our Terms of Service. I have no problem with your ToS allowing or not allowing A-net linking, but then probably Avsim staff should not be posting this: You can link to Airliners.net all day long if you want. --Peter Fabian
February 19, 201313 yr I have no problem with your ToS allowing or not allowing A-net linking, but then probably Avsim staff should not be posting this: You can LINK (I.e., provide a URL) all you want. You cannot embed any airliners.net images here.
February 19, 201313 yr I am trying to provide a link, in plaintext, not even url tags. It wont let me - this is what I would like to be lifted. Of course any airliners.net reference inside image tag can and probably should be blocked. See the image please. --Peter Fabian
February 19, 201313 yr I am trying to provide a link, in plaintext, not even url tags. It wont let me - this is what I would like to be lifted. Of course any airliners.net reference inside image tag can and probably should be blocked. See the image please. This is very simple and you are suffering from the actions of the minority, as is usually the case. We had to ban the use of the word airliners.net as a link because the system cannot discriminate between a URL and an IMG post. Therefore both are banned. Work around it by just explaining; go to the top level URL and then /photo/saudia... etc.
February 19, 201313 yr The font appears to be too small on the PMDG 737NGX equipped with Honeywell MCPs. In real life the font on the Honeywell MCPs is bigger. February 20, 201313 yr Author Hi N.Carlin finally someone that is back to the real subject of this post !!!!!! I m happy that someone else has found this.... And I want to specify that until 737ngx wasn't on sale I used another 737ng that was not,to me,so good as pmdg but however I think that it had a better proportioned honeywell MCP...... Luca Di Francesco
February 21, 201313 yr I too have noticed that the NGX Honeywell MCP font is smaller than the font on the real Honeywell MCP used on 737NG. Johan Nordqvist
February 24, 201313 yr Author here it is a new evidence that shows that honeywell MCP in PMDG 737ngx is not the right size !!!! 2 pics of real cockpits and then 2 pics of 737ngx.... Any chance to rize it !??
February 25, 201313 yr Since the MCP is part of what you see most of the time during flight it sure would be nice if it could be fixed. Johan Nordqvist
February 26, 201313 yr here it is a new evidence that shows that honeywell MCP in PMDG 737ngx is not the right size !!!! 2 pics of real cockpits and then 2 pics of 737ngx.... Any chance to rize it !?? Did you not read the discussion earlier about such images? Anyone interested can look for themselves and see you were right (just as I did). People have agreed with you so why "new evidence" (which isn't new). Adding three exclamation marks doesn't help you either. Far better to contact PMDG and ask them, assuming you have an account as you haven't given a name here. I did contact them and Ryan said he'd ask if it can be included in SP2. No promises though and he said windows interferes with the fonts which makes precise sizing difficult.
February 26, 201313 yr Author Hi Mr.Kevinh ,my name is LUCA DI FRANCESCO,yes I ve an account, yes I bought PMDG 737 NGX,and I brought a new "evidence" here just because I ve noticed that discussion was going away from its real subject... Any case thanks for your interesting in the post and thanks for have contacted pmdg !! so many thanks for your help !! best regards Luca Di Francesco
